I bought this item because I was told it would help my X-Box Kinect operate better in the small room I was using it in, it did not help. I recently moved and found that in a slightly larger room it did improve the functionality of the Kinect by expanding its viewing angle.

I was trying to use in a small room. Unfortunately if you stepped a foot away from where it originally has you stand, then it lost tracking. It has remained in the box...

It works I suppose. we do have a small area to play in, and this does make the camera work for that area. but the tracking gets a little jumpy sometimes.

Easy to attach to the kinect unit. Had to recalibrate a couple times but once it was set it worked great for the small room where the gaming unit is. Only negative is that it seems a little heavy and maybe pulls the kinect forward/down. But so far I haven't had any problems.

I bought this for our XBOX Kinect. We have a fairly small room. Every time we would play the kinect we would end having to move our couch. Since we have gotten this adapter for the kinect we dont have to move our couch anymore. The accuracy I think is a bit off. For the most part pretty good, since it used for our kids that like to play the "just dance" game. overall it does the job. Makes the kinect think it is a bigger room. Which is better than trying to move the wall or rearrange the room just for a video game. Installation was easy. The owners manual is easy to read. Not much is needed anyways since applications does not require tools of any sort.

I was super excited to buy this for my boyfriend for Christmas. We thought it would be fun to play together. We figured we'd need the zoom because our place is small. Too small. The Zoom helps but not enough. I don't recommend anyone with a small living room to invest in it. It's disappointing. I am however, holding onto it in the hopes we move to a place that it'll work better.

I purchased this on clearancee for a decent price. I'm not all that sure how well it works because when I tried hooking it up I wasn't able to calibrate my kinect. It takes an immensely long time to calibrate when this is attached and it seems to make the picture even more grainy that it already is on the kinect. A good idea, but poorly executed.

This is great for your kids room. Easy to set up but takes several times to calibrate.

Basically, this is supposed to help you use your kinect in a smaller space and help it recognize the people. It does help, but it is far from perfect. It can have glitches and sometimes doesn't fully work. For now I will continue to use, but at some point I may just throw it out. It was on clearance at my local store, so it was cheap. You get what you pay for.

It works okay. Definitely worth the $4.99 I paid. However; I would not buy it for its normal price. If you can get it cheap, buy it.

Needs an adjustment for zoom. Good for small apartments

I have a small room that we are using to play the Kinect. Unfortunately this didn't work. We tried calibrating it several different ways using several different angles and just couldn't make it work. I read both good and bad reviews and did what the said, however at the end of the day, it didn't work.

It is perfect when you need to use Kinect in small rooms. I had to stop using Kinect before since the room settings didn't fit Kinect's needs. I am happy this is available to go over that constrain

my Xbox is set up in a small room. The player location is about 5 feet from the controller device. This product helped solve being too close. Worked as described.

Installed the zoom lens on my Xbox camera thinking it would improve its detection of my 6 year old son. It did not. Have only tried it a couple of times and will try it again just to make sure.
