Great Laptop!

Recommended

Good performance, questionable hardware.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this model Omen and was very happy with the performance and speed although I was not happy with all the bloatware that HP piled on it. It played all of my games flawlessly at the high settings. Just one month after the warranty expired, the hard drive totally crashed, completely wiping out all data on it. Nothing was recoverable. I lost a ton of stuff and had to buy a new hard drive. Then, at about 4 months later, the battery started failing. It will only charge to 65% and discharges rapidly. I can only use it for about an hour without plugging it in. You have to wonder when several hardware components fail, one after the other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
