I don't know much about this devise. I just know that my husband bought it, installed it with all his speakers, etc. and WOW do we ever get great sound for our music!

Very happy with my choice on the Receiver! Very few offered a A-B switch for my speakers and also have enough power for my needs and this one does!

Easy to set up. Great performance. Connected to Bose bookshelf speaker system. Only thing I need to find is a better FM antenna

This item was too expensive. I could have gotten another receiver -just as good - for much less money - but I was talked into this one by the Best Buy "salesman"

Onkyo tx-8270 is a good sounding 2.1 stereo receiver.
It has wi-fi and bluetooth with phono and am\fm radio.
I also have the Sony strdh190 so the question is ... Is the onkyo worth another $300 over the Sony? Sony does not have Wi-fi. Sony dh190 does have bluetooth and does also sound good. I guess the way to put it is, the Onkyo sounds good and has features/options but it aint cheap.
