I've only had a few problems with my it. A couple of times it just stopped giving me directions. I had to call back and request them again. Also, when using the phone or using it with my cell phone and Bluetooth the reception is always bad. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Just the peace of mind of needing it after an accident it worth it. And the price was definitely right!

I received my OnStar FMV as a gift (at my suggestion) and was delighted with it from the outset. I have owned an OnStar-equippd car before so there were few surprises. The price was great (it WAS on sale.) The installaion at Best Buy was same-day, performed by knowledgeble technicians and I also received a great idea about how I could install another item on my car as the tech was doing his job. I discovered that there have been some new things included since my last OnStar unit and was very pleased to find a fully functional Blue Tooth system that automatically detects my cell phone. My insurance company was pleased to learn I had installed the unit.

The Onstar mirror I just added to my chevy van is a safety must. I live in a very rural area and have a handicao. This mirror allows me when needed the availability to ask for help, directions, etc. Me and my family feel so much safer now that we have this in our van

makes me feel safer having onstar. usually good directions - they are off a bit at times. some agents are clueless about our major interstates. some agents hang up to quickly. most agents are polite and make sure you have all the information you need before they hang up.

I wanted a Chrysler Sebring convertible, but I have had On-Star for 6 yrs & didn't want to go without it. On-star for my vehicle was available for the Sebring. Best Buy sold it and installed it. The installer was very pleasant and helpful. The only problem ismy convertible needed interior lights to replace the ones on my orginal mirror. The installer told me where to purchase them, and he installed them for me. The On-star price is a little more, but I am glad to have it.

I already have OnStar on my GM vehicles but when my dad started having symptoms of dementia my family got worried that he would end up lost. We went to Best Buy and found we could add the aftermarket OnStar mirror to his Ford. The online tracking and call feature gives us peace of mind that if he should lose his way, he will be found quickly. Not to mention the navigation and emergency features that will help him and my mom when they do decide to travel.

Own star FMV is a great product to have if you don't own a GM vehicle. Juice by the press of a button you can have an ambulance or help on the way in case of an emergency or if you crash your vehicle. It also has a telephone built into it so you can make hands-free phone calls. Great product to have.

Onstar mirror has funtions of handfree calling, script navagation service, can track the car if it was stolen, plus if you had an emergancy for example, car trouble or a heart attack only a touch of a button an help can be sent to your exact locatin. Great funtion. Plus I had a great install at the Best Buy in Paducah, KY.

the only thing that is wrong with this mirror compaired to the one's in a gm product is that it has more vibration but other then that it works the same.

The OnStar system is a great product that provides a number of road services such as emergency or crash notification to a central operations center that will assist you if you need help. You can also get phone service and voice GPS. I wouldn't go on any long drives without these services.

This is an added safety feature to our Vehicle. This allows bluetooth calling, turn by turn navigation, location of vehicle if stolen, emergency feature. Even with the monthly membership its a very affordable. Will have installed in our next vehicle as well

We haven't had a chance to use OnStar FMV on a long trip for roadside assistance and/or emergency services which is the reason we bought it. But, so far, we've had a lot of problems making calls using bluetooth and no one seems to be able to help us at OnStar, which is a bit disappointing to us. However, we will feel safer on trips knowing that help is really just a push button all away.

I'VE ONLY HAD TO USE IT TWICE TO CONTAACT SOMEONE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. IT'S JUST GREAT KNOWING THAT IT'S THERE FOR ME IF I NEED IT.

Love OnStar! It makes me feel safe. This one is for my 16 year old daughter. Wouldn't let her drive without it!

Safety while driving is great knowing help is on the way if needed. On Star operators are very congenial.

As it fills the need for a hands free device required by my State it fills the need admirably.
