I feel it will add the best protection for my Samsung Galaxy S4 Cell Phone. Case feels strong yet is easy to access the phone. Plus I can attach it to my belt with the included belt clip, top of the case.

This product is the real deal. It does not disappoint and gives the user the confidence to protect their device from accidental scratches, and the LcD from crack. Just love it!

The Otterbox gives awesome protection and functionality. I had purchased the lifeproof case and it gave poor audio performance for sound on the other end of phone calls... a hollow sound. So i purchased the Defender. On the con side and im not really complaining because I love the form and function. .. it's not waterproof and is a bit bigger than the lifeproof. On the positive... You can take the plastic screen protector out and use the Zagg glass protector ... with awesome clarity and additional protection...the ports for the pen, speaker and camera are flawless ... charger and audio ports protected by rubber flaps and operate like they should... the belt clip i use for everything but wearing on my belt because it fits nicely in my front or back pocket without the need for the clip.. I have the sturdy and versitle clip usually mounted to my sun visor where you can snap the phone in the facing the out position so you can view the screen for gps ect... The clip rotates on the body 360 degree so you can view the screen either portrait or landscape or anywhere in betwen, the case snaps in securely to the belt clip... audio is not diminished in any way with the case on... needless to say my ultimate combinatin with my Tab 4 is the Otterbox Defender, Zagg glass screen protector and the beats blue tooth earphones another must have .... I bought this case instead of the Griffin Survivor for the Samsung Galaxy S4 for several reasons. First, it isn't as bulky as the Survivor. I feel it provides sufficient protection and it doesn't make the phone heavy like the Survivor does. It has an attractive design and it doesn't feel slippery when you hold it. The flaps that cover the holes are a bit annoying sometimes, but it isn't a big issue. My only complaint is the hassle of taking it off. It's easier than the Survivor, but it does take a bit of effort. Putting it on is easy enough. Though Survivor is a good case for those who are overly cautious, if you just want adequate protection and don't want a heavy, bulky case, then the Otterbox Defender is a good alternative. The price is reasonable as well.

I drop my phone constantly. I have never had a phone last me over a year, but now that I bought this new case- my phone is finally safe from me! If it falls off my bed, out of my lap, from my purse, where ever- my case is protecting it. It still probably wont be safe if it falls off the top of my car again and gets run over- but what can you do? I am so glad i have this case. It is a little bulky with the clip, but I took that off since I don't even use it. Other than that, the case provides great protection and firm grip.

This is the most durable, and protective case I have purchased. I am really impressed with the case. The price was just right. The appearance is kind of plain, but it does a wonderful job protecting my phone. The case makes my phone a little bit heavier, but its worth the protection.

Short review- This phone case is well designed and rugged. It will protect your phone from just about anything you will encounter under normal conditions. If you need something waterproof, get an Otterbox Preserver, a Lifeproof, or just go for the S5. Longer review- I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 at my cellphone company's store, and allowed the salesperson to talk me into buying another brand of protective case from them. I knew about Otterbox (my son swears by his) but they didn't have the one I needed and I didn't want to take the time right then to go to BestBuy to get one. Worst mistake I have made in a long time. The competitor's case did not have an opening over the microphone, so I had to hold open the cover for the charging port while talking in order to be heard. The case wrapped around the phone so far that some areas at the edge of the screen were not accessible, and the "screen protector" was so thick that I had to pound on the screen to get a response. The case also developed a tendency to hold down some of the buttons on the edges of my phone, which regularly drained my battery even when I wasn't using the phone at all. I finally had enough and came to BestBuy to get the Otterbox. Bottom Line- This case fits my phone perfectly, does not interfere with its functionality (it doesn't suffer from any of the "design flaws" of the competitor), and protects the phone even during my busiest and most active days.

I was lucky enough to find this on-line and on sale. I had several cute covers/cases but after my daughter dropped her phone and shattered the screen I was concerned about my new smartphone getting damaged in my handbag, dropping it or dropping something on top of it. Since I put my phone in this cover I have not worried about it getting damaged. The grooved texture makes it easy to keep in your hand and the clear screen protector in no way interferes with any functions. I am completely happy with it.

My husband is a mechanic and this product stands up to the extremes of his job. His phone is protected yet provides ease of access with the belt clip; good quality and with the price match from amazon we saved money by shopping at best buy

The perfect case if you are looking to protect your phone from falls and wear & tear. This case is the second one I have purchased. The only reason I bought a new case is because the rubber shell became a little loose after 2 yrs of talking it off and putting it on. Some people may find it a little bulky.

Had a commuter case before this one. This seems more robust but not much bigger in form compared to the commuter. Has an attached screen protector which could nice until it gets scratched. Not sure if i can replace just the protector by itself with out replacing the whole case. Also came with belt clip which is handy to use on a vehicle visor. Been using it for amonth and i like it so far, btw the pink color is almost neon.

This came with the belt clip as well as the military spec protection case. If you don't need the belt clip, you can save a few bucks and buy just the case. Everybody that I know that has one of these swears by it. I have yet to drop mine but I'm sure it will protect and serve when I need it to.

This case is awesome, I cant say enough positive things about it. It protects my phone fully against accidental drops. It also has a screen protector and holster that I found especially great! I would def recommend to anyone trying to protect a galaxy S4!

I have had this case for just over a month and it has functioned well and the waist clip has not failed. I have had problems with other like cases with too little plastic around the belt clip pin. In the past the clip has broken off when hooked on an object as you walk by. The holster also functions as a stand if the belt clip is fully depressed into the locking position. The most significant issue is ensuring that you place the phone squarely in the holster. If you are not careful to make sure the retaining clip latches squarely on the phone the phone will jump back out of the holster when it is bumped. I have had a number of holster cases in the past and this is the most disappointing problem I have experienced with a case design. The phone case does make the S4 phone much more bulky but protects it well. The case makes it MUCH easier to hold onto the phone. Prior to the case, the phone was difficult to hold and would easily slip through my fingers seeing it was so smooth.

Excellent phone case for the price. Protects your phone from nearly every possibility. I have dropped my phone multiple times without any damage to the phone due to my case. The only issue is the case is not waterproof.

I needed a case for the Galaxy S4 that provided adequate protection from everyday use. Tried a no name case, that gave good protection from bumps and drops but was a bit bulky and didn't have a built in screen protector, port covers or a belt clip. The Otterbox Defender provided all the features I was looking for in a protective cell phone case, plus it is a lot slimmer than the no name case I used previously. An additional plus was when I bought mine, Best Buy had it on sale for $29.99 + tax.

The Otterbox Defender case is perfect if you really want to keep your phone safe. The two piece design locks around the phone and has a built in screen protector (no need for a Zagg shield). There are rubber plugs attached to seal the different ports on your phone when not in use. So far it's help up very, very well and has done a great job protecting my phone. Don't forget to check around because Best Buy price matches (I saved A LOT by checking Amazon).

I've had my phone almost 2 years now and have dropped it multiple times, phone looks like new. Great case, a little bulky but great protection.
