It is confusing as to whether one still needs a screen protector. I've submitted questions to BestBuy and OtterBox. Basically, you don't need it if you don't often drop your phone or if you keep the cover on. I'm taking the cautious road as getting a protector.

After extensive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the displays on newer devices was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, that case is totally compatible with Alpha Glass and Amplify.
