Almost perfect
I have used this type of OtterBox for my old Samsung Galaxy S4. I recently bought it for my new Pixel 3a. It clips to my belt and can swivel 360 degrees. Be aware that it does NOT come with a built-in screen protector. That's okay with me, since I removed it from the one first one years ago. I prefer the thinner glass protector from Zagg. One complaint: It's a curious thing that it is designed such that it only has hard points for the snap if the phone is positioned in a certain direction. That is if you want it to snap tight into the belt clip/screen cover you must insert the phone only one way. It's made to be worn on the right side of my body rather than either side like it used to be. Well I happen to carry something "else" on my right side. The case will still hold the phone pretty tightly because it fits snugly to my phone, so the hard plastic clip has a good friction grip on the rubber-like case. Surely they must have thought about this but decided not to accommodate a left side carry. Other than this complaint and the high price, I am pleased with ther OtterBox Defender.

Solid phone case
The defender fits the phone well and is comfortable in the hand. It's not as thin as some other cases so the phone can feel a bit bulky in one's pocket. However, the included belt clip is comfortable to wear and can be adjusted to reduce the feeling of obtrubsiveness.

Good quality, a little bit bulky
This is a good case in terms of protection (I don't think you will get the same level of protection with any other case); however it is bulky and makes the phone feel and look way bigger than it is. If your priority is protection, then this is the way to go.
