I used to invest in the NUUD Ligeproof case for all my devices. It was very costly but saved my phone plenty of times from water damage and falls. Now that the iPhones are finally water resistant, I can forgo that expense and go slightly cheaper with this Otter case. I don’t like having anything between my finger and my screen so this protects just as good as my NUUD case and have the bare screen to touch. I have dropped it many, many times now and still no broken iPhone. I went a little crazy and purchased the Infra Red camera that slides into the back of the case and then the camera snaps into the lightning port. I work in a rugged environment and having a camera snap in by inlybyhe charging port would not last long. The only negative that I can maybe complain about is that there is a tight fighting plastic piece that fits into the rear accessory port (or what ever it’s called). This keeps the back of the car feeling smooth otherwise there would be a jagged surface that would be uncomfortable when holding the phone. That in itself is a good thing but they should have made it more like a hinged door or a thin slot at the bottom of the care that the accessories would slide up into and still hade a smooth surface on the back area where you hold by. My complaint is that this will one day be lost and I’ll end up with the jagged edge issue in the back said anyway. Maybe even if it was tethered. I still give this snug fitting and great edge protecting case 5 stars.

this is my third different iphone otterbox that i have had and they are all great. i have the iphone 8+ and i really like how this case really doesn’t make the phone much larger than it already is. i read some reviews that said the case was too slick, that is not true. i also saw someone complain about the case getting scratched easliy. i have had this for about a month and i can see some very superficial scratches but nothing bad, but isn’t that the point of the case. i’d rather have a scratched case than a scratched iphone. i have the polar pro battery pack and it is a great fit for this case. it’s way better than having a portable charger and a cable.

I like my Universe case and loved having a wallet on my phone. Unfortunately, you have to remove any accessories to use wireless fast charging on iPhone 8. Something to be aware of before you buy, The case is also a little "slick" and the phone will slide across surfaces. It would be nice if it had a little more "grip".

I am very familiar with Otterbox products and have been really intrigued with the UniVersal series. The case is very similar to the Commuter series, but with a complete open bottom. The case itself feels very solid and sturdy although it can difficult to actually place the phone in and out. I love the module idea and purchased the external flash drive.

I enjoy using this case because of its sturdiness and attachments. I especially like the battery attatchment.

I love the functionality of this case and the versatility it offers with all of the attachments that it is capable of working with. However, the material used for the case is easily scratched and is almost unavoidable from being scratched. An example of this is the battery attachment that has to slide onto the back of this case. The friction of the battery sliding along the backside of this case causes scratches on it. So if you have the battery attachment off and just using the case it is easily visible the physical scratches on the outside of the case and becomes even more apparent when you are switching from attachment to attachment, which is the whole point of having this case. Overall I like the idea of having a phone case that can incorporate many attachments, but the material used should be something more durable and scratch resistant, also less slippery.

Really great product for the iPhone. A clean no bulk back with slide out bottom to attach expandable accessories to it.

Bought this because it looks sturdy and would protect my iPhone really well. And it's a plus that I could buy accessories to attach to this case. It would last long and would protect my iPhone for a longer time no matter if i drop it several times like i know i would.

I needed a case to keep up with my active lifestyle. This case does not disappoint. Yes, it's not the prettiest, nor the lightest, but when used with the OtterBox Universe accessories, the "flaws" go away. Paired this with the polarpro grip/tripod and you have the perfect travel set up.

This is a nice case and he accessories make it a single go to case for me. I've added the magnetic mount, card holder, speaker, and in waiting for the mophie case to be in stock.

Pros: Excellent design for integral Battery Backup or an External Memory Stick!!! Con: MUST BE GRIPPIER- this thing is SLICK!

Good case. Cool to have attachments. Especially charger. Wish they had camera attachment for the 7

The overall case is fine and I have no complaints with that. However the whole reason I bought the case was so that I can swap out camera lenses. The company that partnered with OtterBox currently does not make lenses that fit the iPhone 7 Plus. I thought this was going to change but as of last time I checked the website his was still the case.

I initially purchased this case for my new iPhone 7 Plus due to the possibilities that it gave me with the optional accessories. The case provides great protection but it definitely makes the iPhone bulky and heavy. I decided to return the case due the added bulk and weight.

This case is great if you want to use different accessories while you maintain the safety of your phone. The only drawback is the accessories are only made by one company so there's not many options. Overall, great sleek case for the new iPhone 7Plus

It is a small case with nice products to add to the list. one big problem is the little piece you need to take off to lock the other pieces in place, feel like I am going to loose it. Still it is a great product, just wish it had a stand

I really wish there was a bumper along the bottom of the case.

Since opening of product, it feels too slick to have a firm grip while viewing your phone. But in time I’ve grown to adjust. Dropped the phone a few times already and seems to have proctected it thus far.

I wish is that it had a built-in screen protector, aside from that the universal case is everything I expected. Using the case w/a Mophie battery designed for the case. Case doesn't have a clip like most Otter's, would like it even more if it did, but it's not a deal breaker for now.
