    When inspecting the parts it seemed as if the module was swapped out by someone or used to test, but was definitely used before. I was able to install and it worked, only issue was it being used or swapped previously.

    The adapter needed to be reset. I went inn the store and they told me to call the company. Called them and they easily walked me thru resetting it.

    I bought this same part less than 2 years ago when I purchased my husband a new radio & back-up camera. Afterwards, his Chevy Colorado wouldn’t start sometimes. The Chevy dealership traced the problem to a short in this part. I had to buy a new part, but Best Buy is reinstalling it for free. We’re hoping that this is just a one-time bad part.
