This part is necessary for the installation of the radio

No issues. Everything on it seems to function properly.

Sadly i was also charged for this expensive equipment thougj my vehicle dont have steering wheel controls..the installer said it did mhh

I installed this in my 05 Corvette, the interface works good in interfacing with my car, however trying to program the steering wheel controls to anything but the defaults proves to be problematic. .

This product had been previously installed on someone else's vehicle and didn't work. The wire nuts on it should have given it away. Purchased in Oklahoma and moved to South Carolina so wasn't able to install right away. When I installed it, it didn't work so I thought it was bad then. Took it to a sudio shop and they verified it was bad. Lesson learned, open the boxes to electric parts before walking out of the store. Doubt Best Buy will refund me.

New radio, speakers, etc. installed in the truck. The factory door open/seat belt/lights on alarms all still work through the new radio.

Best Buy said I had to have this for my car that doesn’t even have on star or steering wheel controls. Said the would send me a in store gift card after I explained it to the Geek Squad. Still waiting 3 weeks later. I would have given it a half star if I could have.

Tooooo expensive. If you have a Bose system you are force to get this. Once you change out that radio your music won't sound the same. Recommend to change out all your speakers.

Unfortunately when I left the shop my radio was not interfacing with my steering wheel controls. I need to make a follow up appointment to get this corrected

Works perfectly. Retains everything factory including sat radio, bluetooth, steering wheel controls, OnStar, rear seat dvd player audio, Bose system, etc. Works with both Bose and non-Bose systems. Both connect using regular speaker-level inputs, so you don't have to use your new head unit's RCA outputs for Bose systems, like you do on some older similar interfaces. Comes pre-programming with the steering wheel controls. Nothing special to do or anything. Very easy to install. Clear instructions. If I had to make one complaint, I guess it would be that the main module is a little large. And the chime module is outboard. Would be nice if it was just built right into that module too. Neither warrant losing a star though.

I feel like I not only needed this harness but also that it was not installed properly. Plus I feel like when you complain to Best Buy you are speaking to the wind because no one bothers to respond back

Can't update the firmware without buying another adapter. Does not interface with call answer/ dial functions of the factory system.

not really a fan installed with kenwood headunit and it sounded better when I had the factory radio in now it sounds all distorted and not that loud

Dose not work how the say it should my Steering wheel controls mess up sometimes

Works well with my New Kenwood radio! I’ve had no trouble with it.

bestbuy keep changing my install date so i dont know what the product it like... dont recommend bestbuy to nobody

You have to have these to have a stereo installed.

Added a new aftermarket radio into my 2004 Pontiac gtp and the sound quality sounded worse than it did with my stock radio.... I don’t think the radio harness you guys recommended is using the stock amp likes it’s supposed too....
