    Does almost everything is is supposed to do. The exception being the door chimes ate a joke. I couldn’t figure out what this strange barely audible noise was then I read sum reviews after a while and found it was manufacturers excuse for chimes

  • Kinda sorta works BestBuy installed 2004 Escalade

    For $1104.xx using this, chosen by bestbuy wiring harness for my 2004 Escalade, BestBuy installed a Kenwood DNX574s tuner/gps with backup camera in my 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT. Steering wheel controls were working perfectly fine with the factory premium Caddy Bose Tuner Navigation system. With the BestBuy installed Kenwood, the steering wheel controls were not very good. The worst being that the front to back fader didn't work (at all) and the Prog button, used to toggle through the preselected channels, didn't work at all. I took the 04 Escalade back. A guy with "Sales Manager" on his business card checked it out and informed me that's just the way the $129 "universal" harness works on some vehicles. I guess especially so when the harness failed to work properly, and the harness BestBuy chose to use said right on the product description that this particular harness is intended for GM Vehicles 2009 and newer. I wish it would of been mentioned that this harness may only kinda sorta work -before- they took my $1104.xx and installed the danged thing in my 04 Caddy Escalade (sigh).
