I wanted to make sure the Sonos Play:3 I purchased was protected. Let's just say with this I know it is. What's even better is that it has a detachable faceplate you can flip 180 degrees so that the blue LED showing you're protected can only be seen from the top instead of the top AND the front. Not to mention you can paint it. This is definitely a great piece of protection.

This is a very highly recommended surge protector for TV's. For larger tvs (55"+) mounted to the wall with a tilt mount, you can put an electrical outlet behind the tv in a standard wall mounted electrical outlet. For smaller tv's it is too thick. Also, can not use both electrical outlets if mounted in a corner or side mounted into a recessed wiring management box. You may have to move your electrical and be creative on where you mount it based on how much room you have between your TV and the wall.

I just got two of these, and so far they are working fine. I have installed them on a couple of refrigerators, and have had no issues with either unit or the fridges yet.

Panamax is a well-respected manufacturer. I guess I don't know whether it is a good product until lightning strikes, but I trust Panamax more than anyone else. Hopefully I'll never need it. Fingers crossed.

meets or exceeds requirements in protecting my Sonos wireless speakers

This was a perfect fit for getting my projector secure with a surge protector on the ceiling. The size isnt too big, it is not too small either but it does the work in the space assigned.

This surge protector helped take away the humming sounds on my subwoofer.

I have it mounted to an outlet on my ceiling, attached easily and no concern about it falling since it screws onto the outlet cover

Simple plug in and protected. Have not experienced power surges but hopefully works as described.

I have used Panamax products in the past. I needed something to protect our projector. This product is easy to use on the ceiling because it screws into place and is held in place.

Had this for about 1.5 years. The blue and green LEDs always let me know power and protection were on. This week I noticed both were dark. Moved it around to other outlets… both LEDs out, but power still flows through. There are no maintenance covers… for fuse or other. It's worthless, now. Do I bother with a return for this price…?
