Great Camera for Beginners!

Someone like me who never had a “professional” camera before, I was able to navigate the screen pretty easily. The zoom was incredible! I took pictures for my boyfriend’s graduation and I think for a beginner they came out very nice. Since I was new to this, I didn’t know what the ISO meant, so the pictures I attached are very grainy in some, and have different lighting. I did my research online and now I have a better understanding of the camera. It’s great for well lit areas, but if you know how to use the settings it just right, and maybe edit the photos (i don’t just yet) your photos will come out looking professional!!

Great for sports photography

I was still learning about photography and knew nothing about changing out lenses. The zoom capability is amazing and allows me to catch irreplaceable shots of youth football.

Good Point and Shoot Camera

However, I really enjoyed everything else about this camera, so I’ve repurchased it. The battery life is good and the extended zoom is very nice.

LUMIX FZ80 terrific built in zoom

Used for wildlife stills & video on a trip & it performed very well Only issue is manual that comes with it has very limited information. Just wish it had WiFi!

Fantastic Point and Shoot Camera

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a reasonably priced camera that can take 4K videos with optical zoom capabilities. 4K cameras these days are so expensive and if you want it cheap, you would go with unknown brands. This camera is from Panasonic, is well reviewed in in YouTube, records in 4k, and does 60x Optical Zoom. The Zoom on this camera is more than I expected. The 4K videos are sharp and the colors are fantastic. It's not heavy at all, just a bit bulky because of it's zoom lens, but it is very comfortable to hold. It is a good camera to take on travels -- to capture images that your phone's camera can't zoom in.

Great for shows

It’s incredibly easy to use; even my 7-year-old daughter can use it without any trouble. The zoom and focus are excellent, and the 60x zoom really makes a huge difference when capturing far-away details. The image quality is great, and I was especially impressed with how well it performs in low-light situations, like concerts or evening shots. Everything comes out clear and sharp. I haven’t run into any issues or frustrations at all. It’s really a perfect point-and-shoot camera for beginners, travelers, and anyone who wants great photos without learning complicated settings. Highly recommend!

Great for Beginner and/or Casual Photographer

The zoom is amazing, especially for moon photos. It takes a little time to learn the menus, but it even works well if you just want to stay on auto. I take most of my photos in Aperture Priority mode.

Great camera!

I had my doubts but pleasantly surprised how great the photo quality is with this little camera. The SIM card attaches to a usb adapter to transfer the images to a computer. It seems a little outdated but the affordable price and image quality make up for it.

Good Point & Shoot

This one took a little getting used to. There are more bells/whistles, it's bulkier, and I had to keep remembering to take the lens cap off, my previous point/shoot didn't have one. All in all I've been happy with it.

I spent a lot of time looking for a quality camera at a reasonalble price. I think (and hope) I have found it. I had a Panasonic previously so that is helping with the learning curve. But did the downloadable manual have to be more that 250 pages long.
