The Panasonic Lumix G 25mm F1.7 is rather big compared to other MFT lenses. It is only a little smaller than the Panasonic Leica 25mm F1.4 and it is significantly longer than the Olympus 25mm F1.8. But overall the Panasonic 25mm F1.7 is still a compact lens. The lens mount is made of metal, but the rest of the lenses exterior is made of plastic. However once mounted to the camera the build quality of the Lumix 25mm 1.7 seems alright. The focus ring of the lens is also well damped.
We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the product, thank you for the 5 stars! -A

I am a professional photographer and I love this lens. It is not the Leica 25mm 1.4 nor the 20mm 1.7 but it holds its own. Its autofocus is way faster than the 20mm 1.7, but equally fast to the Leica 25mm 1.4, so if you have the 20mm but cannot afford the Leica, get this one. I got beautiful portraits with the Panasonic 25mm 1.7. For $150, you can't find a better 25mm.

This was my first prime lens, and it is the perfect starting focal length. The "nifty fifty" is really a thing! This lens is great quality, and has quickly become my favorite lens to use.
This is such a nice feedback and we are always trying our best to make the experience of our customers memorable. Thank you so much for taking the time to send this! -C

This lens is very good in low light. Very nice bokeh also. Can't beat it for the price.

I'm a Full Frame DSLR user so shooting micro 4/3 is a little new for me. Bought the Lumix for my wife and she said it felt like it was lacking something. Bought this lens after comparing with the other 25mm and decided this was the one to buy. So far so good and my wife is really happy with the images. The kit and kit zoom that the camera came with have not been used since we got this.

Great optics and price on a lens of a basic aspect ratio that was missing from my collection. The relatively large aperture and Panasonic autofocus capability add value. Glad I made this purchase.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us and the community with your thoughts! We appreciate the five stars and are happy to hear you like the product. -C

I needed another fast mid-focal length lens for use on a B-cam (or handheld on A-cam sometimes) and this one is great. Works as well as can be hoped in low light on the GH5, super handy focal length.
