I bought this dash camera as a deal of the day item for $120 after tax. The camera is made of plastic material. The material feels kind of cheap. The plus side to that is it's very light and I didn't want anything heavy dragging down the rear view mirror. The installation is simple. If you use the clip to attach camera to rear view mirror , make sure you hear that click/snap otherwise the camera will fall right out. The instruction manual does not mention this. The clip fitted my rear view mirror fine. I could only keep the camera on the right side of the mirror since I have the button for anti-glare dim on the other side. The clip sticks out slightly when attached to mirror. I thought it would bother me but it hasn't . The passengers have not noticed. I am using the car cigarette lighter outlet for power. I have the charger plugged in all the time. My car cuts power from the lighter socket when turned off, so it doesn't drain the car batter. A separate cable could be purchased if you want to install to fuse box. I have been using this camera for about a month now and no issues. The camera beeps when you near a stop sign, when the car in front of you pulls away. These alerts could be turned off, if that's not for you. There is a little jingle when the camera starts up. I have not figured out how to turn that off. Night vision on this camera is ok. I don't know if I could pull plate numbers at night. Maybe when I view on the computer it will be better. The camera came with a memory card, I have not taken it out and viewed the video on my computer yet. You could view the video on the camera screen itself. The screen could be pulled down while you are driving or closed so it doesn't distract your driving. It records in a loop cycle .

Ideal compact size and mounting solution. No adhesives or unreliable windshield hogging suction cups. Attaches and hides behind rear view mirror making it stealthy. Video resolution is decent at HD 1080p but can't catch fast moving licence plates or plates that are too far away. Gets the job done though for basic security in case of an accident. Love the hidden design that doesn't bring attention to someone who might want break into the car just to steal the camera. *Tip: when installing camera to rear view mirror bracket, slide camera all the way down until you hear it click in otherwise it will be loose and fall off the bracket.

Most dash cams use a suction cup mount, this one mounts on the rear view mirror. 32 fps video is good but 32gb SD card is the max capacity for this unit.

I had BB points to use, and this was the deal of the day, so i ordered one. Once on your rear view mirror, you can turn it left to right, and up and down. No problem getting it to look straight at the road. At first, there were annoying beeps when you came to a stop sign or the car in front of you started pulling away from the red light. They can be turned off. I've not taken the mini SD card out to view anything, so i can't comment on this. This records in 3 minute intervals. You can also lock the recording at any time so that it can't be recorded over. Seems like a good dash cam if you're in the market for one.

Excellent investment, every driver shoud have a dash cam, it will protect you every time you leave the driveway from those crazy drivers out there, epscially texters.

i bought two of this camera and i ends up return it to best buy for two reason: 1. the night vision in this camera is terrible 2. the rear mirror mount does't fit on all cars !! it work fine on my Camry 2016 but not on my fiat 500e.

This was bought as an entry level dash cam. It wasn't much but so far it has surpassed my expectation. Would buy again!
