Setting up is fluent; took approx one hr to input the standard setting queries. From then on, I can install my regular software programs like MS Office, Acrobat Reader, etc. I have used the desktop daily for over 3 weeks. I does what I need it to do: Word processing, PowerPoint, pdf file handling, playback music & video files. The 4MB RAM is OK but will speed up and I anticipate it will perform faster if I beef it up to 8MB RAM. So far I am happy with my purchase.

You can't really go wrong with HP PCs when they are on sale (below $400!). While this isn't the powerhouse with all of the bells and whistles that some are going for, it's perfect for the not-so-tech-savvy parents who just want to check emails, do some light browsing, and play some solitaire and freecell games. If this is the kind of audience you're going for, this PC won't let you down!

I don't use a computer for much....email, banking, shopping, etc. I bought this because I have a 4 year old Dell that runs Win 7 and knew I needed to update. This thing is WAY slower than my old Dell. It takes forever to boot up and do anything. Save your money and get something better than this piece of junk.

easy set up, doesn't take a lot of space. Got for my son after he killed my laptop. Good for regular use.

Great desktop computer for daily activities online. This one isn't a powerhouse, but I didn't buy it to be. I bought it for basic needs and it's perfect for that. If I had one complaint, I wished it had a faster processor. However, for the price, it fits my needs and I can't really complain that much.

Got this for my he office handles my workload just fine. Happy withy purchase.

Oh My Gosh! This is the worst computer I have ever gotten. It was loud the first few days, it has now calmed down. It is SLOW! I was thinking maybe it was the built in wifi, and the internet did speed up after being hardwired. But this sucker is SLOW! Just trying to play a game of solitaire, it's slow. Clicking the windows button to get your start menu....it's SLOW. I would not even give this to my enemy. It's ridiculous.
