I already had the Hue Bridge and decided to spend a little more to keep all lights in the same system. They are very nice and can dial in and program colors in the Hue app. I also got a separate smart dimmer switch and work well together.

I’m not sure why they didn’t design these to go on like every other recessed can light. It took several attempts to get these lights to stay in.

So far they’ve been extremely reliable and very easy to install. The price is very high, but these are still a fairly new product. I’m hoping that they decrease in price in the future.

Added this one over the sink in the kitchen. Depending on the placement of your existing can light, may have to work at it a little to get pushed i to that can. Worth it.
