These were an addition to a kit that I had already purchased from Best Buy. What can I say, do you need these? No. But you want them because you like to automate the mundane things in your life. I have these lights setup with the IFTTT app and they turn on at sunset and off at sunrise (hint: they are outside). I have also set up scenes for all the holidays, which makes my neighbors super jealous.

Added easily into our Hue system. Will be buying more for the rest of the house.

great for spot light locations, much brighter than your traditional hue lights.

So, I love my Hue bulbs. I've got a bunch in one room to make it possible to play games with the lights. If I'm gonna spend $20 on LED bulbs anyway, might as well pop a bit more and get something I can play with. The Hue app is good, the 3rd party apps are awesome. Colors are fun, and the lights themselves, just operating as lights, work very well. Quality is a little tough. I've returned two for loud buzzing, and probably have a third that may fall into that category, but overall, I'm very pleased.

Great light for setting the mood while watching TV, relaxing, or reading.

The kit comes with 3 bulbs and we needed 4. Expensive, but we love them.

This bulb was simple and easy to connect with my current hue kit.

Works as advertised. I like the possibilities that the bulb has to offer, but I think is outrageously overpriced.

These are a neat thing to have in the house. They can get pricey though if you want a whole house effect.

I purchased a starter kit for my husband last year and now most of the lights in our house are connected. The latest addition in the light strip for under our bar and step in the theater. He really enjoys playing with the lights and our guests are always amazed. Very simple hookup and a variety of apps available to control the system.

It is incredibly bright. Unfortunately the color mixing options still do not include a solid green.

Easy to add to an existing system. Took about 30 seconds to add. Light is bright and there is no flickering or warm up. Color changing is interesting, but not really the reason I bought the system.

Best smart home LED's in my opinion. A little pricey but worth the money.
