These are expensive as with other hue products. Simple install, plug into an outlet and then pair it with base. You have to use the phillips app to do all the initial set up. You will need to use the app to change the colors which is fine but if you have people in the house that do not have access to the app it leaves them out. I have mine connected to one of the phillips hue switches/dimmers. Others in the house can turn them on and off or dim the lights. No color changes though you need the app for that. I use mine as accent lights on top of out kitchen cabinets, they cycle on off a dozen times or more a day. I also have them integrated with smarthings and google home. Google home lets everybody control the lights with thier voice no app needed to change the colors, dim the lights or turn them on/off. Pretty cool stuff just wish the price was a little less.

I bought one strip to add counter light in in my kitchen as I have only one light in the whole room. It is absolutely a night and day difference in the light I have on my work spaces. I tucked it behind some moulding on the ceiling and it's well hidden. It worked so well I bought another to put in the living room bouncing the light off the ceiling. It adds a warmth of diffused light that really makes the living room pleasant during the evenings. Also who doesn't like being able to control your light with your favorite assistant? Being able to schedule the on/off is really nice also.

Setup is straight forward and simple, just like the other hue products. Seemless integration with our existing hue products. Works fine with a version 1 bridge as well.

I've always wanted this and when they were on sale for $60 I finally decided to bite the bullet and grab this. I rather pay $60 than $90 and these don't disappoint. I've actually posted these behind my cough and have Phillips hue in my whole living room so to change the mood or lighting these things make that experience even better. They're bright so I can have them just on and they'll illuminate the room if I don't want it to be too bright and they're adjustable. The fact that I can put an add on attachment to it to make it longer makes it even better.

I have this put up for TV backlight. Very nice, color has a wide range even for whites. Easy to install, it has a 3m tape that you peel and stick. So far it does hold. I will recommend this product especially if you are planning to add it on a wallmounted TV!

These led strips are awesome, very expensive but, are totally worth it.

I have the first generation Hue bulbs and while I love them, I wish the color was more vivid. I bought the strips to see the 'updated color'. Tip: turn strip away from your face BEFORE you plug it in. The lights are crazy bright. The price point can be a tough to swallow if you're like me wanting to accent cabinets, curtains, mantles, etc. This one was intended for the back of our headboard but I couldn't talk myself into cutting it so we left it as a limp rainbow under the bed. I have also begun to play with it as photography lighting! Love it!

This is a very good product but the Hue Smartphone app is confusing and needs to be simplified with an ease of first use for the beginning customer. Must buy the wifi hub for the product to be of good use, otherwise by itself it is an over-over-over priced white light led strip.

the light was a easy set up. can put on any surface with its easy stick on installation. bright and many color options love the item will be purchasing more

The Hue collection is awesome and these strip lights are the perfect add in, put them behind a back rest on your couch for a great accent light!

I added this to my wall unit, it was quick, easy and really makes it look great with all of the colors. Voice control makes it a crowd pleaser.

These may seem like a stupid and expensive purchase, but reviews don't lie...These lights are a game changer!!! The led are bright and crisp when needed.

Very easy to setup and install. While the price is a bit high, being a part of the hue ecosystem allows for seamless control of multiple lights.

I really like my Philips hue lights strip. It just works, and works well. What more could you ask for? HOWEVER the reason I gave this 4 stars (because you can't give a 4.5) is for two reasons. 1. They are expensive, there are cheaper alternatives but you might also get what you pay for. 2. Once you cut the strip to the desired length you cannot reuse the piece you cut off. There are other light strips on the market that allow you to use the extra section. And as I said these are expensive and throwing the leftover section in the trash feels like a waste of money. (In my case it was the last foot or so.) That being said, if you've already bought into the Philips hue system of lights, these are quality lights. And they do what they were made for.

I installed the Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus on top of my kitchen cabinets at the same time I installed some Philips Hue Color Led bulbs. Using the Hue app on my phone I can change the color if the lightstrip and the bulbs at the same time or change the bulbs individually, make them all the same color and also dim them all at once. I can also control them with my Alexa Echo Dot and Google mini. I have them set that if I say "Alexa, good night, they all go off at the same time. It is pretty cool!

I purchased this to give my home desk a little flare, works perfect, looks great, and is the best you can buy. Try and catch it on sale though!

they are so easy to install and a great addition to my original hue lights. I bought 2 for my kitchen and they make it look bigger, cleaner and more elegant.
