I am glad that there is a simple option to automate your lighting. I use this beside my bed to wake me like an alarm clock, so I didn't need colors.

Lights can be programmed to come on automatically in the morning and off at night. Geofencing works well. Lights on when arriving home after dark

Just plug them in to socket, turn on switch, sync them to hue and they are good to go. Hope hue decides to integrate with home kit for iOS.

Great quality of light, plenty bright for a table lamp in our living room, works great with the Philips Hue iPhone app.

It works just like it the other hue products without the option to change colors. I am using these for entry way lighting. The geofencing option is very convenient, no more fumbling for a switch or walking into a dark home. Plus it only uses 9 watts.

LUX is a perfect addition to my HUE bulb system. LUX allows me to place a non-color changing bulb into rooms where I can still have that home automation feel of controlling the lights remotely or while home. You can also dim these bulbs from 10% to 100%. That also save energy and are long lasting! You'll need either the LUX starter kit and hub or the HUE starter kit and hub to access these features.

Once you purchase the starter, it's so easy to keep adding and adding! Great product

If you are trying to connect a lot of light fixtures to your hue bridge, but don't have the money for the more expensive color changing bulbs, this is a good compromise. They can still be programmed on timers and geo location fences. It's also nice that they are dimmable. If you can afford the color changing ones, definitely choose them over this; but for the money, this works fine.
