I bought these based on all the positive reviews here. My space is a medium living room, Denon amp, 10" sub. These speakers sounded like some cheap bookshelf speakers. I really can't say more, didn't like them, returned them and went with the Polk TSx 330T's. I bought them on sale thinking that they would be used for a bit as my mains and then moved to the rears, but after breaking them in, they sound great. Do yourself a favor, wait for a higher end speaker to go on sale, you'll thank yourself for it later.

Good value, however I was expecting more quality. If you are looking for an average set this is a good deal. But don't expect that you win the lottery!

Did considerable research before buying and was working with narrow space and they worked perfectly.

I purchased it for my Sony 5.1 channel speaker system. It works good and recommended for home theaters of 300+ sq.ft.

I got tired of trying to listen to real music over a surround sound speaker system so I went shopping. I had my eye on some ridiculously priced speakers by another brand, but when I listened to these in the store I couldn't hear nearly $200 in difference between these and the other "premium" speakers. I listen to vinyl, CDs and digital music in my home with these speakers (I do have an inexpensive sub) and I am very pleased with the full, rich sound. They look great and don't take up a lot of space. I'd say they have good bass, but you're probably not going to be happy with them by themselves... the sub gives everything a bit more punch. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants to upgrade their sound without going into debt!

I was extremely skeptical of these speakers after purchasing the Andrew Jones sound bar and bluetooth subwoofer combo that came out a little while back. That thing sounded terrible and was immediately returned. I was looking for a new pair of speakers in the less than $500 range and these kept coming up. I decided to go to Best Buy and give them a listen. In the store, they were nothing that great, but sounded OK. I figured they had a crummy MP3 file playing through them and I would never know what they really sounded like till I brought them home. So I pulled the trigger and just bought a pair of them. I have to say, when I got them home and fired them up I was very pleasantly surprised at how great they sounded! They had very rich sound, a ton of bass even without using a subwoofer and the highs, mid's, and lows were all very well represented in the overall sound. I have them hooked up to a Marantz PM5005 Amplifier. MP3 type stuff sounds very good, TV/movie audio sounds amazing, where I was really blown away was running some vinyl through these. They blew me away and I was totally sold on them. I wouldn't say these are a true "audiophile" speaker as some people have said. But I would bet you would not be able to find anything in this price range that sounded better. If you are on the fence about these, definitely take a set home and try them out. Not sure how they would be on a lower end receiver, but on my Marantz they sounded amazing!

These speakers have a really crisp sound a have an impressive appearance.

These speakers are great. I had upgraded to these from 2 tiny Onkyo HTIB speakers and there is absolutely no comparison. Bass, mid, and treble come through very clear, balanced and are pleasing to the ears. These being tower speakers have a decent amount of bass on their own that you could get away with not having a subwoofer for a while. The price is probably the best thing about these as they could easily sell these for twice the asking price and they would still be worth it. Get them today for your home theater, you won't be sorry!
