I purchased this item as a Christmas gift. I ached the install at the Greenville SC store or 12/24. The day of my appointment I got a call that the two techs called in sick and I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for 12/26. They look at my daughter’s car and say that I need to purchase a $150 wire kit to retain her steering wheel functions and that the one that was automatically added the the cart one the website wouldn’t do that. They didn’t have this product in stock and said they would have to order it and I would need to bring the car back again. At that point I was frustrated and requested a refund.
I am sorry to hear you are having such a problem with the installation and adapter kits. I know certain vehicles require special interface modules, and they can be expensive. If not yet resolved, please contact Best Buy at 1-888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the problem.

This cost stereo has it all the display is very nice. It’s very easy to use and it makes my old car sound brand new.

We have seen this issue with the latest iOS updates. We are working with Apple to resolve the issue. For now, press the phone menu icon on the top left corner of the stereo. This will take you back to the CarPlay screen.

This area was installed into my 2011 Ford F150 for the most part it it works however every now and then for whatever reason it disconnects and then reconnect. So the connectivity part of it it’s a little shaky and there are some features that I’m unable to utilize, but outside of that it’s a decent radio for when I’m working with.

Great Head Unit. Software works without issues. Only wish screen could be adjusted to move to differretn degrees up and down.

The time it took for the expert to find the correct product and the amount of times I was asked for details which were already supplied was incredibly frustrating.
