Needed a replacement DVD drive and this Blue Ray player works great with my iMac.

This external drive is excellent partner for Mac desktop. Not only can you view blue ray disc, you can also burn to them.

I have used this external drive to watch movies and burn CDs for friends on a MacBook Air. It works great although it's a little loud.

Pioneer External Blu-ray drive is small and very portable. Plug in to usb port and ready also instantly. I use it to watch movies on my laptop. Great buy.

I bought this for my 27 inch iMac and it works great. DVD's and Cd's play perfectly. I have not tried blu-rays yet but so far so good for everything else.

This drive funcitons as advertised. The only complaint I have is that the provided USB3.0 cable is forked and for some reason this "tertiary power" coupling is getting more popular. Frankly I'd rather a different design but no matter WHO's drive you get, it's going to be that way. I'd have done 5 stars if they either redesigned it or gave you far more length than 2 inches for people who's extra port is on the other side of the laptop... Not smart "pioneer" Again, this is really nothing that affects ownership or use. It's just a hair being split.

Fast burning Blu-ray drive is great for large file backups (like RAW images.) And the clamshell design means no disc tray for a clumsy person like myself to break!

Bought this Blu-Ray player for my son to use with his MacBook Pro. It works very well, I am thinking of buying two more, one for my daughter and one for myself.

I bought the drive in order to play blu-rays. It works right out of the box with no fuss or any issue what so ever. Third party playback software not included.

It's a good device. Works well. I do wish it came with software of its own. But free downloadable seems to work just fine.

This drive works great! Burns and reads well. Uses 2 USB ports. Quiet and smooth

This drive will play bluray disks. I had to get an app to play them which was a minor issue. Works good with USB 3.0.

It works great with my IMac. I haven’t tried the blu-ray player yet but I’m sure it will be great. The only negative is it’s a little loud

This Bluray burner works great. I use it all the time to burn the movies we made and that we have for sale.

I needed a second USB drive for my Macbook Pro, and I chose this unit over the Apple Super Drive (which I purchased last time). For only $15 more, I was able to add BluRay read and write. That's a great value! The design integrates nicely to my other Apple gear, the device runs quietly, and the laser hasn't had any read errors (even on scratched discs). I don't have any complaints and am considering buying another to replace the Super Drive I already had.

This is a great drive. It works as expected. Nice that you get a discount if you already have DVD/BluRay software as it does not come with any.

I bought this primarily for converting Blu-ray to Digital and it works fantastic. It's small and lightweight.

This drives works great. I have had zero problems with it. It has done everything I needed it to with zero hassle or problems.

For the price this is a very nice Blu-ray/DVD player/burner. It reads and writes very fast. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Fewer and fewer laptops come with optical drives anymore, and being in IT, I occasionally have the need for one while on the go. This drive works well enough and transports easily, being slightly bigger than a CD case, it's easy to tuck into a laptop bag. The only real faults are it's a little loud, which is typical for optical drives anyways, and sometimes it's pretty slow to spin up, to the point where I'm not sure if it's actually reading the disc. These are only minor issues, not worth losing a star, but worth a mention.
