This works great with all my blu-ray dvds. Its definitely small enough to through in your bag and take with you anywhere.

had to by one because most new light laptops don't have a player writer, work great after some tec. installing the drivers issues

This external Blu-ray writer by Pioneer is much faster than the one I owned before, very happy!

used this to play blue ray dvd's on my laptop, worked great, only downside is it doesn't come with software but easy to find for free on new egg

Works well. Hasn’t hung up yet. Mainly use it to burn Blu-ray data archives. Drive is a bit loud

I bought this to replace my PC's damaged internal Blu-Ray drive. it's pretty good for the price. Very portable too.

I bought this CD/DVD/BD burner for use with a new Apple computer. It's not as fast as I'd like, but it was recommended by the store salesman (who, coincidentally, had no other drives to show me), so I bought it rather than order something online. The drive works well; plackback of CDs and DVDs has been fine; burning discs has been flawless thus far. I've not yet used the drive for Blu-Rays.

I loved it! Works well & is super fast. Top loading discs like an old boom box instead of waiting for a tray to eject.

I love my Mac computers, but as it the trend lately (that they led), most machines don't have disk drives anymore, and Macs never had blu ray drives anyway. You'll need some special blu ray software you can find various places to play blu ray disks on a Mac, but DVDs and the burning features work great without any additional software. On occasion, I have some issues with ejecting the disk, but that has more to do with MacOS and it's semi-strange handling of optical disks than anything else.

Reasonable price and works great. Needed something that would play Blu-Ray and it does it well.

This little driver is so quick.....my only complaint is it feels cheap but we have had it over a year now and really love it!

Wanted a disk drive for my laptop and was looking at all of the external ones online. This pioneer is working with no problems and I'm running windows 10 and do a lot of movies on disk. For me it was a good purchase and am able to take advantage of my USB 3.0 ports. Mine runs quiet, but had to go on website to get a patch for that. Good buy.

This drive didn't want to work with my Mac at first, but with some techy tricks, it finally connected and works like a dream!

I have used it a few times and it works seamlessly. Its quick and looks great too. Definitely recommend this Optical drive.

I have a HP 3 - 1 and it does not have a blue ray dvd/cd Player. I hooked this up to a connector and problem solved.

This works perfectly in OS 10.10.2 and in windows 8. Some other brands do not. Good price too.
