Small, portable, completely USB powered (requires two ports), and works write out of the box. Perfect for a Mac user.

Easy hookup. Easy use. Only thing to be aware of is that it uses 2 USB plugs

It is easy to use and can support many types of software in order to download data on to DVD/CD ROM disks.

This is a great product but you need to download a program to be able to watch Blu-ray on your Mac computer. There are no instructions that come with the equipment to help you to do this. I called Best Buy and they couldn't help me other than to steer me to their Geek Squad which would cost more than the price of the blu-ray equipment. I did research and called Apple on the phone. They were able to help me for free.

Work great with the Microsoft surface or any other computer product that does not have an optical drive installed.

I’ve only had the unit for two days, but it has played both DVDs and Blu-Rays without issue on my MacBook Pro 2016. It’s connected to a powered USB 3.0 hub. Since Blu-Ray playback is not supported natively on Mac OS, I had to also buy player software (Aiseesoft Studio). I won’t know about durability for some time. 4 stars instead of 5 because the unit does not have an on/off switch which all my other external drives do have.

I was looking for a replacement external drive and this was a good choice. Easy to use and functions as expected.

This product works great for what we need it for. we needed it to do blueray Disc to digital for our Vudu account.

I needed a drive for my new MacBook Pro that does not come with one. This does the trick and can do Blu-rays.

Very dependable, I write a lot of Blue Ray Discs. Not one failure. Also easy to take with me on my travels.

Works great. Have had no issues. Don’t use that have often but it works as it should.

I electronically back up my dvd collection. I would experience difficulty in converting on several discs. Outward appearance of the disc would not show any damage but would still be challenging to convert. Despite cleaning optical drive the condition would remain. I decided to give this product a try based on previous feedback and it did not disappoint. It has exceeded my expectations.

I owned the previous model and this one is faster and better. I am using it with my Macbook Pro and it is great!
