    I use this to burn DVD from time to time. Work great. Have not used it to burn a Blu-Ray yet. You need other software to make it work. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the one I bought a year ago was getting write errors. I would advise buying the extended warranty.

    Sometimes it has trouble reading discs and the head is moving a lot . I've only wrote one Blu-Ray disc and it seemed to do pretty good writing and does fair at reading it. Since it's small, very portable and powered by USB, it's still a pretty good buy for the price.
