Was looking for something inexpensive and loaded with features and this more than met my expectations. No unnecessary CD player! I haven't owned a CD in years, so why pay for one? The few down sides to the unit is you cannot display the clock AND track info, there is no dimmer connection, and you cannot change the display color (it is blue only.) For the dimmer you must specify a time in settings for it to go dim and back to normal, or change it manually. None of these things was a deal breaker for me. Sound quality is good, controls are simple, it looks good without being too flashy, Pandora via Bluetooth works great, and phone calls are clear from both sides. Hard to go wrong buying this.

When the Kenwood CD player broke in my '98 Ford Ranger pickup I was planning to go to an unnamed store that sells toys for cars because they do installation. However, my son said he would install one for me if I bought it at Best Buy. It was night and he sat in my truck with a flashlight, a soldering iron, electrical tape, and the wiring map for the truck system on his cell phone. He got it all right the first time using the wiring map for the receiver in the manual. We plugged in the antenna and the microphone and then clipped the microphone to the visor. The mic wire is plenty long enough to route around the dash and windshield border from either side. I turned it on and synced up my Samsung cell phone over Bluetooth. It was awesome! The sound is great! The cell phone is hands free using the truck speakers and the Pioneer system microphone. The menu is straightforward and simple to use--unlike my previous unit. Just push in the volume button and turn through the options. Push the button again to select an option. There is an exit button that backs out a level. Getting out of demo mode is a breeze--and then it never comes back unless you select it. This model has no CD player but, with audio from the phone over Bluetooth, plugging in a USB device, or connecting with an audio cable, who needs a CD? You can rip a hundred CDs to the SD card on the phone. I mostly listen to audio books over Bluetooth from the phone. But music sounds great, too. At under a hundred bucks, this was a fantastic value!

I purchased this because it was cheap and going into an old beat up pickup truck. But I was surprised by how well it works. The Bluetooth works awesome! And the radio works great. The hand free calling with this is crystal clear. Only drawback is it doesn't have a CD player, but I don't really use CDs so this wasn't a real concern for me.

Got a great deal on this single DIN system during the Black Friday special to get a great sound in addition to modern technology features (hands-free calling, Bluetooth, digital music options) on a 1997 Toyota T-100 SR-5 pick-up truck. The only downside, but not a big deal in today's digital music world, is that this receiver does not play CDs. Other than that, this unit has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

This stereo has great sound quality, all the features I was looking for (Bluetooth, USB port, and audio jack), good price, and ease of use! The button setup takes a little getting used to, but the unit works great. There is a separate microphone for the Bluetooth phone feature, and it offers great sound!

Be sure you know what you're getting here. There's no CD player, just a radio with Bluetooth, Aux, and USB in. I was mostly interested in the Bluetooth, which works well once paired but adding new devices does take some time navigating through slow menus. Also this devices seems underpowered. And the USB port does not control my iPod classic. The Best Buy installation on it was pretty shoddy too.

Got this on Black Friday for the great price of $50. It's hard to beat for that price which includes bluetooth and music playback off of usb. Bluetooth pair to iphone and was clear and loud. Music also sound good. Installed myself and it's working great. Hopefully it'll last a long time.

The bluetooth is great - very clear sound on when making calls. Radio is good too! I would buy it again for sure. Easy install - once I read the directions, we installed it ourselves. Very easy to use/work.

Bought for my sons car. Works great, sounds great and easy to use. He loves the blue tooth to play his music from his phone! Tech was able to install it quickly for us. I wish the color could be changed, rest of car lights up green, and this lights blue.

Easy install. Sounds great. Easy to use. Pairs perfectly with my iPhone and BT telephone audio is very good in both directions. Not for the audiophile or modder but perfect for the daily driver.

I recently inherited an '05 vehicle with the factory standard radio. I've been in enough rental cars recently to have decided I can't live without a modern deck, so I did my research and settled on this. It's perfect for what I wanted. The interface is clean, the bluetooth and hands free calling are nice and clear, and the sound quality it great. It does not have a CD player, though. Personally, I didn't want one, because saying it doesn't have a CD player this day and age it like saying it doesn't have a tape deck. If you're considering this, you're probably looking for modern, so the USB port, auxiliary jack, and Bluetooth will probably cover your modern needs like it did mine.

Bought this open box from the location and didn't exactly realize it doesn't have a CD player. Which honestly I guess is fine. I use it for the bluetooth streaming on my phone. I have an iPhone 6 and it worked perfect with it, very happy with the fact that when I turn it on it will automatically start playing my iTunes without touching a single button. Has enough settings to play around with. Can hook a sub up. For under a $100 solid buy.

I would say this is a great buy especially if you want something without a CD player my galaxy s3 connects to it easily n the Bluetooth is great I havent tad any issues with it so far if u want something at a great value that gets the job done this is it ipod works great android works great Pandora .... all good so far had it for about 2months now

I love the blue tooth connectivity function of the radio. It's nice not having a cd player in it due to space and heat limitations. It works great on long trips to put the sound of the movies throughout the car. The telephone works great with the external microphone that came with it. We used to have a bluetooth radio and the mic was in the radio. It was difficult to hear when the car was running. Not this one, it works great.

I needed to replace my stock stereo in my truck. The Pioneer was simple to self install with an installation kit. Works great, sounds even better. A solid choice for original equipment replacement. Best Buy staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in selling me all of the appropriate gear to make my sweet sounds possible. Great job to them!

I wanted a radio with all the basic features plus Bluetooth, and the price of this one in addition to the Pioneer reputation was kind of irresistible. I don't use any kind of compact discs, so having he chance to use the Bluetooth instead, was great for me. Sound quality is pretty fine and the mixtrax is just great!

Got an amazing deal on this radio on Black Friday! I finally got it installed and the sound quality from this radio is amazing and the available adjustments for the sub and the available HPF help for adjustments to the sound and the Bluetooth helps a lot with my cellphone usage while driving.

great price, great stereo, it work perfectly, had trouble connecting it the first time but I love how it automatically connects once it has for the first time and the music also pauses when you turn off the car and continues when turned on again where it was left.

I got this product for $50 on black Friday. It works perfectly for my 2 12' kickers. It is easy to understand and has every setting you would ever need. This radio is easy to instal in vehicles. Overall, 5/5 starts for this amazing product!

Head unit was easy to install and easy to set up. The unit lacks a CD player so keep that in mind. Bluetooth connection can be somewhat difficult to program. I've noticed that entering and exiting the vehicle will sometimes reset the connection. Other than that, haven't had any major issues.
