Nice device but needs improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Bluetooth since it 1st was available and have continued to be a heavy business user because I hate wires especially while driving. My replacement BT was a Bose 2. It was very nice but didn't have long enough talk or standby time although with the dual microphones I could hold a conversation in any type of noisy or windy environment. I lost it so after much research decided to try the new Edge. I really like the voice commands and caller ID as well as the long talk and standby times. Also thought the cradle was a great idea to keep a charge while traveling. Those are the pros. As for the cons: It tends to hurt my ear it I leave it in for over an hour due to the rubber tips being a little too hard. I could wear the Bose all day but the rubber ear insert was extra soft. You can be talking and walk outside and if its a little windy your call starts going in and out. You have to walk back inside or disable the Edge to maintain your call. Specs contradict this issue so maybe I have a bad unit. If not, I'm really hoping they will correct this issue with a firmware upgrade and also provide an option for some better more softer earpieces.

Posted .You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so; Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. Re-pair the headset with your phone. If this does not fix your issue, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test. If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset. Please don't hesitate to contact our customer care group at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance.

Disappointing Bluetooth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Plantronics model when my 5200 Series Legend seemed to be defective and the CS person didn't offer to even ask an associate if there were more in the back (none were on the floor. I left the store with the Voyager Edge and immediately made a call to see how I sounded on it. The response was, "You sound tinny and like you are underwater." Well, needless to say, back it went! Maybe it was just that unit, as it was with my first 5200 Series Legend, but my experience wasn't good.

The Best all around BT right now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I have had every BT headset made in the last 5 years, and, even though I loved my current Sennheiser Presence, I missed some of the features that the "retail" headsets tend to have, like caller ID announce, etc..My sennheiser had fantastic sound, and battery life, but no "features". I grabbed the Voyager edge a few days ago, after reading nice reviews on it for the last few weeks, and I am very happy with it so far. Fit is great, don't even need the ear hook, and my ear is hard to fit, I love the "auto answer" when you pick it up, and the "auto resume" of your music when you put it back in your ear, and so far, the battery is excellent too. Loud as can be, great noise reduction, and loaded with all the newest features...Plus, the charging "station" is really nice and works great! If you want a full featured, top of the line headset, grab this one. You won't be disappointed!

Quality of time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My life is complex always on the go the last Bluetooth I had was another company and was the best Bluetooth I ever had. I'm not a big fan of plantronics to begin with I have had issues in the past. With no other choice I purchased it because I was assured it was the best they had... Still not happy at all doesn't have the ease of use that my other one did and I will never again go with plantronics

Posted .Thank you for your honest review on our Voyager Edge, we are sorry to hear you were unable to get a proper fit. Please try using every included eartip size and adjusting the eartip's angle either downwards or upwards to see if this helps. Some users will find the unit more comfortable while using the over the ear earloop, but we also recommend that you try the headset without it to see if this helps.
Our customer care group is available at any time at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance with your unit.

Great for daily use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using plantronics voyager for three years and wanted to switch to a better version. Edge is definitely better in terms of - voice clarity, access and battery. If ur budget is less then i recommend u to go for voyager - apt for beginners whereas edge can be for daily usage- it's pretty light and I don't feel that am wearing a headset. It's fantastic - don't see any negative - may be one thing - Since this was my first headset without a hook to my ear I was a bit worried that it might fall. Checked out a video on how to wear :) and yea it does not fall. Worth buying!!

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.when it works it works but many times it drops calls back to phone.

Posted .If the call audio switches back to your phone constantly you might want to disable your headset's smart sensors.
In order to do this, ensure your headset is powered on and then simultaneously press and hold the call control and mute buttons until the LED flashes purple and then red.

Not what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When i speak to someone it crackles! The battery runs out very quickly on talk time and its very akward feeling in the ear with that loop! Also have to switch ears every 2 days because it becomes raw and burns to the touch of anything!

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using blue tooth head sets since they first cam out and have upgraded to some of the most expensive but this one is not work the price tag. First two days it worked like a charm, after that it wouldn't answer when it should have. That's the main feature for hands free right???
