    I did manage to break 2 of these in the first month of owning the laptop that uses this as a power cord. But it is a nice long well supported cable, but the exposed micro C metal tip bent in both cases and couldn't be used in that position. When I bent it back it would no longer charge the laptop. Replacing the cable only is about 1/3 to 1/5 the cost of replacing an AC adapter
