I needed a new card reader that could handle CF Cards and the Insignia™ - USB 3.0 Multiformat Memory Card Reader that I found at Best Buy did the trick. Very easy to use with the USB connection. I plugged the reader in, inserted my cards and was able to access my files. Would recommend this reader for ease of use and value for the price.

I purchased this card reader after purchasing a Targus reader that wouldn't work. At first I couldn't get this one to work but then I read a review that stated you had to put the memory card in upside down not the way the instructions told you to do it. Other than that it does the job.

I recently purchased an HP Pavilion x360 that only had a slot for an SD card. As I use CF cards in my Canon 40D I needed this multiformat memory card reader that works with just about any type of card. It works great without needing any other peripheral device.

Nice and small.does not take up much space.the cord is very short so I could not plug into back of computer so I plug it in front usb when I need it. I had to purchase online cause this item was not in stock in any store around me. Not much else to say about it.

My digital camera will not automatically load images onto my computer as the device is not recognized. The Insignia memory card reader is easy to use, just plug into a USB slot and go. However, be careful to follow the instructions if you have a CF memory card as the pins on the card need to line up perfectly in the reader.

I use older style memory cards for several pieces of equipment we work with. This card reader makes my life a lot easier. I was surprised to notice that my downloads seemed faster than when I used just the card itself. I like the USB connection, I can switch it between multiple work computers very easily. Would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this at the store because I needed to have a card reader to dump all my photos and videos from different sources to my computer. As opposed to an older model I had from another brand and that stopped working after a year or less, the design in this one is a lot more robust. Very easy to use.

Does this product read memory cards? Yes. Eventually. The ad indicated 'compatible with Mac'. I purchased the memory card reader but it did not work on its own. I have a newer Mac and needed an adapter to be compatible with the newer Macs. Had to spend another $20. When I returned the product to see if there was an updated version to work direct with my Mac I was told no. I had buy an adapter. I said thats false advertising as it did not work with my Mac. Both the sales clerk on the floor and customer service rep showed little concern for my issue. I would recommend Best Buy sell multiple readers to be compatible with all Macs or change their ad to indicate *may need adapter.

Purchased my 1 st Apple laptop and there is no slot for ad cards so had to buy adaptor to be apaches to the Apple agape or as the new ports on Mac Pro are thunderbolt. Worked like a charm and was Apple to down my pics to new Mac. Best Buy team was very helpful to make sure I purchased the correct item

I wanted a small voice recorder as a back-up and to save the messages I have on my home phone from relatives who are now deceased. The voice recorder I got at Best Buy is just what I was looking for. Technology has changed and I was afraid I wouldn't find them anymore, but, sure enough, B.B. had one!

I have been using a USB2 card reader for years and while traveling had a great deal of video to transfer and needed to speed up the process. I dropped by Best Buy and found the Insignia USB 3.0. Immediately I noticed how fast the transfer whet. I should have done this a long time ago. Well worth the money.

Needed this to offload daily video files from my SD card to my mother's (old) laptop while away from home. This worked exactly as advertised! Was a little slow on my mother's 2.0 USB ports (to be expected with large HD video files). Should be faster when using a 3.0 USB port. Will be using again this year.

I was looking for a memory card reader that had a good price/performance ratio and this looks to be about right. Transfer speeds are fine and compatibility appears to be good. If you're looking for an inexpensive reader that is dependable and handles most form factors, this seems to hit the mark.

I purchased this to be able to read my SD and CF camera memory cards into my computer. So far, it has worked flawlessly with all the cards I have used in it. It also seems to have a faster transfer speed than my old USB 2.0 memory card reader, but I haven't run any tests to confirm that.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to plug and unplug cameras to download pictures. Works well with fast downloads. The pins for the CF seem rather exposed. Haven't had any bend or anything, but looks like there could be a risk.

I bought this so I could transfer my pictures and video off of my 60d camera. It works great. My only critique is it'd think it would be nice if this hub came with rubber feet stoppers, so it wouldn't slide around as much when I try to put in my sd card. But that's a very tiny annoyance.

Great when transferring my microSD card footage. I will say that when i was using the CF card slot it would come loose sometimes, Not sure if just a defect or if my card had issues staying plugged in, nothing some gaff couldnt fix

This memory card reader worked instantly with two cards we had used with a Sony camera. Connecting this to an Apple Macbook which was connected to a Passport for Mac allowed us to back up thousands of photos from memory cards to an external hard drive quickly and easily. Price was reasonable too.

It does what it is supposed to do. It reads from your SD cards and lets you read or transfer files at will. The USB 3.0 connection really speeds up the process. I mainly use this for my SD cards for my Canon camera.

I had to replace another card reader that would only work off and on. I use a couple different cameras and the adapter for my micro card would not read in my laptop. This is well made and works well with different media cards.
