    Windows 10 couldn't read the CF card I put in it... Nor would Windows 10 allow me to format that same CF card. Haven't figured out whether it is the reader, the card, the USB connection or the operating system that is causing me grief.

    This unit is really fast and transfers with no issues. My only gripe is when I connect to my PC it tells me there is an error with drive. All I do is cancel the error message and it's back to normal. Just really annoying.

    I needed a card reader for my camera and sought one that would be useful now and in the future so bought this one. The instructions said to insert the card label side up but that some sd cards should be label down and failure to do so could damage the card. The card had pictures from a bucket list trip. After trying my memory card in one slot that looked correct but was too small, with great trepidation I reversed the card and put it in another slot which worked. The instructions could have been clearer.
