If you’re considering upgrading or jumping into PlayStation for the first time, this is 100% worth it, and Best Buy is hands-down the best place to get it. One discreet shipment, delivered to the house the very next day like a classified operation. No alerts. No suspicion. Just a perfectly timed arrival while Santa was still working on his list. Packing up the PS4 for trade-in was surprisingly painless almost ceremonial. A chapter closed. Within days, the trade-in credit hit, sealing the deal and confirming that this mission was a success. Christmas morning came… and let’s just say Santa didn’t stand a chance. Dad walked away with all the glory, a PS5 loaded with 1TB of possibilities, and a reminder that sometimes the real magic isn’t from the North Pole, it’s from a well-executed plan and a great deal.

We purchased the product online and picked it up at our local Best Buy store. The whole process we quick and easy. The kids were super excited and play it all the time. We did purchase additional controllers (different colors) so each kid and guest had their own which helps avoid fighting over which white controller belongs to who…. I settled that by saying that was mine :) Set up was simple enough and I did get the kids a PlayStation subscription so they could play the free games. The system we purchased plays both the discs and digital games. If I were to purchase another I would only get the digital console since the PS5 only plays PS4 & 5 games and we don’t have any of these discs.

Buying the PS5 Slim was honestly one of the most satisfying gaming purchases I’ve made in a long time. The first thing that hit me was the design is sleeker and lighter than the original PS5, and it actually fits nicely into my setup. Performance-wise, it’s exactly what you want. Games load insanely fast, everything feels smooth, and titles like Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarök. I also really enjoyed how quiet it is. Even during long gaming sessions, it stays cool and barely makes a sound, which makes late-night gaming way more enjoyable.

The PS5 remains one of the best gaming consoles available, especially if you want impressive performance, fast loading times, and strong first-party/exclusive games. The Digital Edition is ideal if you buy/download games, while the disc version offers more flexibility for physical media. The PS5 Pro is excellent if you want the highest visual fidelity and performance, although it’s pricier. Overall, it’s a solid choice for both casual and hardcore gamers alike — especially if you’re upgrading from an older PlayStation generation.

Had a Ps4 since launch and finally made the decision to upgrade. After seeing all the news about the delay for the next gen console due to memory shortage, this was the best option by far for me. The speed, power and accessibility and now the lower price make this deal a match made in heaven. I love choosing 'Ps5 version' for all my playstation plus catalogue. Remotes are great, batteries last long and the tactile feel of the buttons hasnt changed so it all feels familiar yet new. Highly recommend for any gamer, the bundle with Fortnite included is icing on the cake.

My kids not a gamer he just wanted to broaden his likes. Getting started was difficult to the point he wanted me to return it but after connecting with friends who are gamers he’s been ok. There’s a lot of cost with everything he wants to do with this. He loves the game, it’s played on a SONY 75” he loves it. The bundle was such a great investment, saved a lot of money. Always Best Buy for great deals

I had a great experience purchasing my PlayStation 5 from Best Buy. I originally bought the wrong version, but when I went back to exchange it, the team was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful, making the process quick and stress-free. The PS5 itself is amazing—fast load times, incredible graphics, and a huge upgrade. I’m so happy I get to enjoy my holiday time with my new purchase. Overall, excellent customer service, and I would definitely recommend Best Buy!

Love how small it is compared to the big clunky one the first edition also like that it has a lot of storage and it’s compact. I would highly recommend buying it.

First shout out to the employee who took the time to locate the correct console as I wanted the one with a disc drive. The initial start up did not take as nearly as long as expected, also you can load a game via disk at the same time it is updating and setting up. Graphics are great, the remote works across the room just fine. Easy set up. The one downfall is 1TB isn't a lot if you are going to be downloading games but being able to add external memory is great.

PS5 was a big hit! Best Buy clerk was very helpful and selecting it and the accessories needed to open and begin play!

I have tried XBox one. I have been loyal to the Xbox brand for more than a decade until when all of the sudden my console stopped working. I decided to switch and instantly noticed a huge difference between the Xbox and PS5. Collors are brighter, gaming rates are better. Quality of the game controller better. Sony good job. The experience in the UI is unmatched.

I’ve had my new PlayStation since Christmas, and it’s been everything I wanted and more. The performance, graphics, and overall experience exceeded my expectations. I also love Best Buy the purchase process was quick and easy, and I wasn’t sure which option to buy, but both sales reps were incredibly helpful in narrowing it down for me. They even walked me through setting up my new system online and wrote the steps down so I could follow them later.

I enjoy this product. I use often and it keeps me entertained. The PS5 Runs well and I haven't had any problems with it.

My boy is loving the PS5! Also, the process for the online purchasing and, subsequent, pickup at a Best Buy location, literally, on the opposite U.S. coast was simple and convenient. My son and his mother (in California) picked-up his PS5 within an hour of my online order at home in North Carolina. Good job, from start to finish, Best Buy.
