Good Budget Priced Memory
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this 16 GB kit along with another 16 GB kit from Best Buy purchased a few months ago to install on an Asus Sabertooth 990FX AMD board. The Memory modules are not true 1866 Mhz as they are labeled, but MAY run Overclocked at 1866 Mhz on your system :) They are unstable on my system running at 1866 but run perfect at 1600 Mhz. And before I get bombarded with a lot of "Helpful" comments. Yes I tried changing Bios settings, moving the chipsets, and trying different memory profiles and settings.

Good Memory for the Price

However was not recognized as 1866 Mhz automatically, system saw it as 1600 Mhz. Had to go into my Bios and set it up as 1866.

When I installed the ram after taking out the stick of 4gb and leaving the 8gb from the factory in running at 1600 mhz. Well I checked the bios setting and it now reads all memory at 1333mhz. I had to return the memory and put the other stick of 4gb in for a total of 12gb and went back up to 1600 MHz again.

I am glad to have a Best Buy store in my area.

It benchmarks the same as my existing RAM, but since I bought the same specs I expected that.In otherwords it clocks where it should.
