While restoring an old pc for my dad, I needed to upgrade the boot drive. I couldn't use an m.2 due to the older motherboard on that computer, so I got this drive instead. Definitely loads into windows faster than the old hard drive it came with- just had to use an adapter to put into a standard 3.5 inch drive slot, plug it in, and install a modern os. Bought for a pretty good price too, yet still a great value even at normal price compared to the bigger names like Samsung. For computers that don't have an m.2 slot I would highly recommend this drive. Just remember to pick up an adapter if you're upgrading a desktop, which are easily found right here at Best Buy. Unless you're making a solitary drive build, 500 gb is plenty!

Great device, working great so far. My laptop performance improved after replacing my old sata disk drive with this one. Easy installation, since pins are compatibility with old one, simply removed old and inserted this one. of course I have to backup my OS to usb and then restored back to this to boot the OS from new SSD.

I replaced the old hard disk in my Lenovo laptop with this drive. Completely renewed the system. I highly recommend this SSD for that purpose. The laptop is working better than ever.

Best thing I could have done to my laptop runs much faster and so much quieter. I don't even miss the larger one.

PNY products have always worked well for me. This ssd is no exception. It is quiet and efficient, just what one hopes for. It currently anchors a new build and probably will for quite some time. The price was too low to mention. Once again Best Buy provided a good opportunity to upgrade. Don't let their prices go unnoticed.

I’m very impressed with this SSD! It delivers fast performance and was conveniently in stock at my local Best Buy. I was searching for one of the fastest SSDs available, and this was a great option at an excellent price. It works flawlessly in my old Lenovo W520 laptop and has given it a significant speed boost. Easy to add storage which is fast and inexpensive to use.

Light weight, fast enough and reliable. It works great with my notebook, Desktop PC, MacBook Pro, and Raspberry Pi. No hustle. Plug and play works on all platforms. I have it for over a month. Let's see it it last 2, 3 or even 5 years.

WOW. HAD THIS PUT IN MY DESKTOP. THOUGHT I WAS GONNA HAVE TO TRASK IT....... BUT GEEK SQUAD INSTALLED THIS AND TOOK OUT THE OLD DISC DRIVE... WHAT A DIFFERENCE. GREAT PRODUCT . AND GREAT JOB GEEK SQUAD AND ONLY TOOK A DAY.

Great upgrade from a regular HDD to hey solid state this is great if you're wanting to be on a budget and just need to make your machine go a little bit faster I definitely recommend these guys they're great hard drives I've not had one fellow be yet
