Very reliable memory. Ease to install, does not require a lot of setup.

It was this or a 500gig 7200 rpm SATA HDD from Seagate to save a few bucks. But this was in stock and the Seagate wasn’t (and it was on sale). Otherwise I’d have ordered the Seagate (from Amazon). Price point on this was pretty good though so it was a no brainer.

Fast state drive. I purchased this along with 8gb of extra ram and now my laptop is super fast. Had this for almost a month and I love it. It's worth the extra couple of dollars for the extra space you get on this drive.

This SSD drive is a lot more durable than any mechanical hard drive. without worrying about moving internal parts.. installed windows 10 for my desktop quiet and fast big difference . good price on sale SSD only time will tell if lasts. Worth the money if it does.

This hard drive installs very easy and seems very dependable. Cannot be the value for the price! will buy again

I have had this SSD in my laptop for about 2 years. The drive functions well. It boots quickly to Windows without any problem. It does not have DRAM, but for more modern computers, the lack of DRAM is not an issue. It is a great entry level SSD or a good secondary drive and for the right price, I would recommend picking it up!

I put this in an older computer that had a traditional drive but the computer was slow and seemed to lock up at times. I could not find any issues (well I did, but after fixing them the pc still was slow) the existing drive didn’t show errors and I was able to clone it onto this PNY solid state drive. After swapping the computer ran like new.

I have been pleased with the hard drive. It is fast with no installation issues. Though it's only been installed a few weeks so long term is still to be decided. i have no doubt it will perform well for a long time.

Hard drive wewnt out on my wife's laptop. Geek Squad Replaced with the PNY 500GB SSD. She just raves about how fast it starts up and how everything loads faster. Very satisfied that she is satisfied and laptop fixed.

I switch this SSD on my early 2011 MacBook Pro and it's help tremendously with boot up and shutdown speed. I definitely notice a speed increase when opening apps as well. Along with a RAM upgrade, it's helped with battery life and smoothness of workflow as well.

We use this to store video. I works great. It is HD video but not 4k. We don't know how it works at higher resolutions, but we assume it will work great.

Excellent price on sale. Great replacement SSD drive for laptop. You must have some basic knowledge to install drive. You also need to know how to migrate your existing OS to the SSD.

Bought this to add as a second drive in my desktop computer. Easy to install, good price and fast. I store a lot of my files on it and they load fast. Very satisfied.
