This ssd is very reliable. I have used a couple on other systems, as well and have never had one fail on me. These are great for the price.

Helped add speed to computer. A rejuvenation. Fairly easy to install, less sensitive than old "disk" hard drives.

Upgraded an often freezing up ASUS Laptop's harddrive with the PNY drive. It was simple and easy. The old considerably heavier weight original hard disk caused the laptop to often slow down and randomly work at almost crawling speeds - without actually crashing. Windows upgrade could take hours. All issues are now gone. The laptop has become very light weight. The performance has improved extremely well. Bootup is almost instantaneous. Can easily operate and switch between many simultaneously running programs - without changing the RAM. Was initially considering between PNY and EVO, but the cost difference and a good price deal made it an easier decision. Recommend the product.

I have purchased several of these in the past and as always these are highly reliable SSDs. For the price they really can't be beat. I highly recommended them.

Terrific upgrade if you're still using a mechanical hard drive. PNY doesn't supply cloning software for this particular drive - most of the SSDs they make for that matter - but Google can find you a free solution in that department. How much faster can a SSD make your computer? The laptop I upgraded is an AMD A6-7400 with 4GB of DDR4 RAM. The SSD alone improved boot times from about 5 minutes to desktop to about 45 seconds; I did upgrade the RAM, which took it down to about 20 seconds. If you have a computer made in the last 4-5 years and you want to get some more life out of it, this is the upgrade for you.

Easy to install and performs well. Got a 30% increase in performance over the HDD it replaced.
