    Amazing bundle

The bundle is great. I love the poke ball plus and how easy it’s to use. It gives off a lot of xp and items. The game is fun and refreshing. Sometimes it feels a tad too easy, but nothing to complain about. The graphics are sleek and bright, a big jump up from the DS family. Some people may complain about the new catching mechanisms that are similar to PoGo, and while I miss the old mechanics, that’s not the end of the world. I like how you can see Pokémon walking around - as it was in my first contact with Pokémon in the anime, many(!) years ago. I know this game was made to attract new/PoGo players to the Nintendo Switch (it worked for me, I bought the console because of the game; and almost didn’t touch my 3DS since), so the game was simplified. I understand. As I said before, it feels easy sometimes. I don’t care, it’s a great game anyway. I can take it anywhere, and it looks way better than the other games I played - X/Y, ORAS, S/M, US/UM. It’s chill, and you can find shinies without trying too hard. I got a Pidgey after a 10 Vulpix combo while I was looking for a regular Rapidash (lazy, I know!). There is just one point that would have made me knock a star if it wasn’t easy to fix. The sounds/music are A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G. I just adjusted all sound settings and made them more subtle. You can select your favorite playlist, and Let’s Go on mute, please!

I was hesitant about the price of this product, but I think it’s worth it. You get both the game and the poke ball plus, which comes with Mew inside. The game is tons of fun and the poke ball is great to hold and use as a controller. I take it everywhere I go with it synced to my Pokemon GO account.

My husband is absolutely obsessed with the Pokémon Go app. I have a Switch that I love to play on so I thought this would be a good idea! My husband was elated! He loves to carry the pokéball back and forth with a buddy from the game. I debated whether to get just the game or the box with the pokéball. I’m glad I got the box because the pokéball is a controller for both the switch and the app(kinda). Definitely happy with this purchase!!

Pokemon Let's Go (Eevee) is a great branch of the franchise for new and old fans. The have mechanics have been changed to parallel the Pokemon Go app but it doesn't detract from an amazing experience. The graphics are wonderful feeling different while similar to Go.

This game brings a mix of Pokémon GO and the core games that we love. The game makes it go easier and faster especially for the new players, but still caters to us old ones. It is a beautiful game. Not ground-breaking, but a taste of what a core game in the Nintendo Switch will be like.

This game is an excellent game for new and old fans alike! The Pokeball plus accessory although fun and very well made can act a lil wonky when trying to use it to motion capture monsters.. but that’s my only gripe.. some pokemon vets might find the game a little easy, but I found the game does still offer you interesting ways to challenge any returning Pokémon masters!

The big fear with this game was that it wouldn't feel like Pokemon. They changed the method of capture to be a bit more like Pokemon Go. But, I have to say this feels exactly like Pokemon. Now, it's not what we're all waiting for, a full on gen 8 Pokemon game, but it's still pretty awesome. The Pokeball controller allows for comfortable one handed play, and comes with Mew! The controller can also be synced with the Pokemon Go app to be used as a controller for that game as well. The game is awesome and very fun, looks gorgeous and easy for anyone to pick up and play. It's a great time for new and seasoned Pokemon trainers alike!

I never got a chance to play Pokémon Yellow when it came out, and this is a faithful retelling if that game with a slightly easier bent. With few exceptions, you don’t have to battle Pokémon to catch them. Instead it relies on finding them in the wild (where the can obviously be encountered or avoided) and capture them with a pokeball exactly how you would in Pokémon Go. The ability to take your Pokémon on walks in the pokeball is a big game breaking since I had a level 40 charizard before I got to my second gym, but it’s still a fun and easy way to level up your Pokémon.

The game itself is cute and fun if you’re just looking to wind down from a long day. It plays on the nostalgia for people who grew up with Red/Blue. It’s not a copy and paste game with graphic upgrades, they added enough changes to the story and map to make it different. The Pokeball Plus that comes with it is a decent gimmick. The sound it makes and vibrations makes it feel like you’re actually holding one. It may not control the way you want it to sometimes if you choose to throw it for the catching mechanic. If you’re not using it for the Pokémon Go app, you may use it like a offbrand yo-yo thanks to the wrist strap and ring attached to it, which I find therapeutic in its own way. As to whether to get this over the Pikachu version depends on which Pokémon you want to play around with more.

im playing the pikachu version and my son is playing the eevee version so needless to say we are both having a blast below im going to copy and paste my review from the pikachu one I bought this game knowing it isnt a regular pokemon rpg which is coming out next year. This game is fun to play with the pokeball plus though i wish it had more buttons for inputs. While playing this game the locations gave me nostaglia overload of pokemon blue game...wow! so its a mix of pokemon go the mobile game for catching pokemon with pokeballs and also the regular pokemon rpgs with all the trainer battles “i love wearing shorts lets battle!” lol! this game is simply fun to play and next year we’ll get the real deal pokemon game so if ur a fan who wants to have fun this is a must have and for me the pokemon ball plus feels great and makes the experience enjoyable but not necessary

    Modern Nostalgia Trip

I tried my hardest to not buy it but the 6yr old in me couldn't resist. Gameplay is super simple in both catching and battling. Grinding in pokemon has always been a drag but this game make it fun. Plus shinies are easier to catch in this game than any other. The pokeball plus is a very nice addition, but it's lack of buttons make it unusable since it's far more difficult to do basic menu commands. Plus it cramps your hand after 10 minutes. I'm not a fan of the forced motion controls. Hand held mode is the clear winner since the game feels far easier to play. It already knows how to read basic controller input yet the pro controller isn't allowed. Docked mode makes it look beautiful but the motion controls just make me sick. I literally can't play docked, I need handheld. It can be fixed with a patch though I don't see Nintendo doing that.

When buying the combo pack you get a special Pokemon. We were able to catch MEW in both Pikachu and Eevee. Surprised at how comfortable playing with just the Poke Ball is. You can not use the pro controller, which I find the Poke Ball is way more comfortable when playing hand held or on TV mode, and the ball works great. It's flawless. Otherwise the options are left controller, right controller, Poke Ball, or Hand held. There are so many great updates now to the game. You can save with out going to the center, you can send Pokemon to the professior with out having to go any where, you can change the layout of your Pokemon while playing with out having to go any where either. Its the best game ever now. So much easier. Love the old Pokemon music. The graphics are just beautiful. No update required out of the box, that is super nice for people who don't have internet or even have satellite internet. Highly recommended these games if your a huge Pokemon fan.

My my kids love this game. The pokeball plus is a fun accessory to use. Only downside is the ball is a bit small for my big hands, so I can't use it for an extended time without cramping. It's perfect for a child's hand though. I bought both the Pikachu and Evee versions.

Due to the all new catch mechanics (to mimic Pokemon GO), the omission of wild pokemon battles, and the stripping of some different aspects of the game (breeding, abilities, etc), I was expecting a very watered down game that I felt would only appeal to kids. What I got was an updates throwback to the original games that I grew up with. The game is surprisingly fun and addictive. A lot of the changes actually made the game more streamlined (I love having the Pokemon PC box on you at all times and the HMs not taking up a move slot, hopefully in the next pokemon game, the trainer learns the HM skills, so they can have them at all times). Great graphics, amazingly beautiful music, and a nostalgic story makes this game worth it for many Pokemon fans. Also, the Pokeball controller is a real treat. I highly recommend it.

If you grew up with Pokemon like I did (8 years old when Red first set off in the Kanto region) then you have to buy this game. Not only do you get to replay and re-catch all of your favorite pokemon but you get to have them walk with you and the Pokeball Plus is a great controller. Yes the motion does get repetetive but when you have to try and catch one of the legendary birds, it becomes a lot harder. I like the difficulty progression when catching higher level mons and the vibration and lighting effects of the Pokeball Plus. Also, the walking animations for your buddy pokemon are awesome! I still use the Pokeball Plus as a Go Plus for Pokemon go. This package deal is the perfect buy for any pokemon fan.

I got this game because having a soft spot for Pokemon games. I didn't have high expectations about the game after hearing no wild Pokemon battles. I have surprised myself and absolutely love the game. It is a bit easier in the beginning and does walk you through a lot. The difficultly picks up a bunch when you get farther and the post game content is satisfying the hard battles craving. I got the version with the Pokeball plus, once I started playing using the pokeball plus I couldn't go back to handheld mode and was solely playing with in TV or tabletop mode. I don't have too much trouble with it being small, as I have smaller hands, but can easily see someone with larger hands getting uncomfortable with the size.

Bought this as a gift for a family member and I was expecting the Pokeball to be kind of a gimmick mostly but it turned out to be really nice and feature packed. Works really well as a full-featured controller for Pokemon and has some nice touches too, for example when you plug it into the charger it makes the Pokemon Center Healing sound and the ring around the center joystick also pulses in sync with the pokeball on screen when catching a pokemon. Its not cheap but its a nice accessory especially for big time pokemon fans Also the Game is really fun and brings back a lot of Nostalgia for those who've been playing since Pokemon Yellow

I was initially not that interested in picking up this game because it seemed to be mostly for people new to gaming rather than experience gamers. It does lack some features that fans of the main Pokémon series come to expect but I still enjoyed my time with it. The Poké Ball Plus controller is definitely high quality but using it limits you as you will not be able to take screenshots and looking at your Pokédex is cumbersome. Overall though I enjoyed my time with the game and the controller and would recommend it.
