Extremely Disappointed With In-Store Experience an

I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at Best Buy. I waited overnight and was fourth in line, only to be told that only one unit of the product was available. Later, I was informed that three units were available, but the rest had been allocated to “online orders” placed back in February 2025.
After this confusing and frustrating experience, I was told I could place an order online. I did—only to be refunded the next day with no explanation.
I made the effort to show up early in person, expecting fair availability. Instead, I was met with poor communication, a lack of transparency, and ultimately, no product. It’s incredibly disheartening to see others walk into the store and be offered options while I was left with nothing after waiting all night.
I hope Best Buy reconsiders how it handles limited releases, especially for loyal customers who go out of their way to shop in-store. Clearer communication and fairer distribution would go a long way in restoring trust.

Everyone giving it a 1 star is because they tried to be slick and go around the fact of having to camp out for the product release. Best buy stood by the customers who waited patiently at the store for the release. Nice try scalpers!

Only bad things where I had to wait outside since 5am just to get one! Weird how the manager promised a ton of stock for the day 1 drop but there was only 10 boxes that morning, we where only told at 10am that there was only 10 so all the other 30+ people in line got nothing yikesss. It was all grown reseller men so that was okay :)

Great amount of packs and for a good price! Had to wait in line for 5 hours before the store opened but was worth the wait. Tired online but bots run the game. Sounds like a bad review but it was worth it because it’s one of the most sought after pokemon products on the market

Easy going staff made the pick up easy. The product was factiry sealed and in great condition. Now that they set limits to how many products people can buy makes it fair to those who wait in line. Also members got a discount!

A great collection, especially if you're looking to actually play the game. All of the extras are geared towards gameplay and they were all of great construction and quality.

I came a day before to ask about the stock of this item. The highland store would not tell me. I waited 2 hours to e day of release and I was 5th in line only to be said they had 1 stock. I asked if they could do an online purchase and they said yes, then it was cancelled. I then talked to online support who said that the store manager would call me back to make the purchase again which they did not. Worst customer experience and service ever

The contents of the set are a perfect collection of items for someone into pokemon cards. The biggest problem is people trying to get around the system to try and buy as many as possible and resell at an extremely inflated price. If you can find one for normal retail price its great.

I waited in line to get the spc but by the time it my turn it out of stock. Find out from a friend best buy plus and total membership can order in store so I ordered the spc and it going to ship to my home on june 6 but look like it shiping soon to me by end of may. This one time I’m glad I got the membership for this in store drop order.

Hello, it has now been over three months since I placed my order online (payment was processed immediately), and I still have not received the product.
In that time, I have called customer service more than 10 times, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. Not a single agent has been willing or able to assist me. Several agents hung up on me after pretending to “look into it,” and others made false promises—claiming they would email me with updates or have a supervisor contact me directly. None of those promises were ever kept.
At this point, I am left with no product, no refund, and no accountability from this company. This is unacceptable and feels like outright fraud. I have lost complete trust in this business.
If my issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate further through formal complaints and consumer protection channels. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and basic reliability—this company has shown me none of these.
