I really like this watch. I wear it all the time. I already loved Polar so I thought this would be a good step up. They sold me in that is can do wrist HR OR!! H7 Heartrate chest strap (which I like to use for weight lifting or more intense workouts. It's comfortable and I have gotten compliments on it. The touchscreen works well and the battery lasts a long time. I use the heart rate/exercise timing function 3-4 times a week and still only have to charge it for about 2 hours every other week. Why isn't is 5 stars? Because I read in the description which phones the notification works with and guess what? It wasn't accurate. Your phone must have 5.01 android OS or higher. My Galaxy s$ isn't compatible. It's a bummer but not a deal breaker. I guess it's motivation to upgrade my phone? Lol Why I like it WAY more than the Loop: I prefer this to the loop in all aspects. I like how it looks, that you can change the band color that it vibrates that it looks like a real watch (and serves as one) it has a vibrating alarm and inactivity alert function that it hold a charge for a long time on wrist HR monitor that it doesn't run out of memory (or at least it hasn't yet. I hated that about the loop, that if I didn't sync it every 2-3 days, I'd run out of memory and couldn't use the exercise recoding function. On this watch however, I've gone over a week without syncing and it still doesn't run out of memory! I LOVE that. .. The sync is a little slow though) I love the color touch screen, it looks great During training you can see: heart rate workout duration which zone you're in (on a bar graph) the time of day and calories burned after training you can see: amount of time and % of time in each heart rate zone how long the workout was how many calories burned average HR max HR when syncing to the flow app: you see all the data from the workouts, how long you sat/laid down/walked/ran duration of sleep and % of how restful it was steps taken, distance traveled (like 4 miles) what time you want your vibrating alarm for and what days you want it and more! Cons: there's a little piece of metal on the strap and I have a desk job so it got scuffed really fast. doesn't sync to older phones for notification alerts. That's honestly it. Oh yeah about the wrist HR monitor: I think it works great and the people having trouble might not be wearing it correctly. It must be worn a little about the boney part of the wrist, and tight. It needs to stay tight (flush against the skin) so that it can get a good, maintained reading. I think it's very accurate for a wrist monitor and have gotten reading extremely similar to my chest strap. And yes- it goes high! I have a high HR and it is reflective of the 190-200 range I go into during intense workouts with no problem! It's very user friendly and my favorite activity monitor I've tried.

Polar A360 is a good fitness watch but some issues

After my Fitbit fell apart, I decided to try something else. Since I spin with a Polar watch, this item seemed like a natural. Best Buy will match an Amazon price, so it cost $150. It keeps track of your day and workouts, has basic sleep information and provides a silent alarm. It works in the pool and with the H7 chest strap heart monitor. I am basically happy with the purchase, especially at this price. The instructions could be better. For example it says to push the button to sync to a device, but it doesn't tell you that you have to let go of the button. Also the bluetooth syncing is less than perfect and after a recent update, the watch invariably says "syncing failed," although the data was actually transferred. There is a scale that also syncs to the watch with bluetooth. It works, but the Fitbit scale with wi-fi works better and more automatically. All the data shows up on your phone, tablet or computer. That said, the watch does what I want it to do and with a few searches and emails to the help desk, it is playing with the scale, phone and internet reasonably well. The screen is bright and colorful and the battery lasts 5 days or so. The connect is micro usb, so it is easy to charge, unlike the fitbit, which requires a special cord. There are several very detailed reviews on line.

I used to have a Nike Fuel Band, then switched to the Misfit Shine and Shine 2 and finally landed on the Polar A360 and absolutely love it! It’s Waterproof, gets text message notifications and any other alerts you have turned on with your phone, heart rate monitor, tracks your work outs when you want, color touch screen and overall a perfect fit. the time only comes on when you twist your wrist or when you press the button to save on battery life (which I have to charge about every 3-4 days depending on usage) but no problem there. Keep in mind though, the more notifications you have pushed to this device, the less the battery will last. Love this fitness tracker and have been so happy with this purchase from day one!

This has been the perfect fitness band so far. Have used a Nike Fuel Band and the Misfit Shine 1 & 2, and the Polar a360 has been the best so far. Waterproof, heart rate monitor with text and call notifications, comfortable to wear and easy to use. Did take a few time to sync initially but after that no problems at all. Recharge it about every 4 days but could last longer with no text notifications or no activity sessions being recorded. Love this!

I had to return this for the black one because it's for a very small wrist. I don't have a big or fat wrist and it was super tight. (My wrist measures 16cm & 6 1/4in) cutting off my circulation tight. The wrist based heart rate monitor technology is not accurate. It's not just polar. Garmin, fit bit, and Apple Watch are all the same. If you check YouTube reviews you'll see what I mean. Other than that I love love love this watch. I don't use smart notifications and I go 4 to 6 days on the battery charge while exercising and using the heart rate feature anywhere from 1 to 3 hours a day. Usually more than less. The app, Polar Flow, is a must-have with this watch. It's free. It's extremely detailed and helpful in any weight loss or endurance training. It's like having a free personal trainer. The website is even better. Polar goes above and beyond to improve your health and fitness level. I can't say enough good things about this it's so detailed and in-depth. You can use a Bluetooth chest strap heart rate monitor if you want to with this watch. It works well under water while swimming and is fully waterproof. This is ultimately why I chose this watch because none of the others can deliver this. They say that you can use them for swimming and it just isn't true. I think this is because Bluetooth doesn't work underwater. But since this is taking a reading on your wrist this works underwater. The wrist based HRM is close enough for me. Sometimes it takes a few seconds and a little repositioning on your wrist for it to read correctly. You also have to find the perfect tightness. I personally love the convenience of having a HRM on my wrist. I do a lot of random activities & exercise, so for me it's perfect. I do HIIT and that is the only time I have inaccurate readings. What I learned from u tube is that it works by laser and reads the blood flow in your veins. When I do HIIT, the veins constrict and this makes it difficult to read for several seconds. I was on the verge of returning this for an Apple Watch when I found this out. Thank God. I personally do not want a phone on my wrist. Other fitness watches I have had were very bulky. This one is very slim. I like the touch screen. It usually syncs with the app as soon if not b4 I open the app. If it doesn't I just push the button on the side & do it manually. I gave this a 4* because of imperfect HRM. With improved technology this will get better. Matter of fact the next polar update is supposed to improve this. Another plus is that this is like your phone. As time goes on they can make improvements. For instance, when I first got this it was set to light up every time u moved your arm. In my opinion this uses up the battery more. They have since added a do not disturb button that prevents this and still allows get up and move alerts. I do not like the black wrist band and in March they are coming out with other colors that can be changed out if u want. :) It only takes an hour or two to charge, depending on how close to empty it is. When I have 1/4 battery life left, I plug it in and it takes about an hour. This is every 4-6 days with 1-3 hours a day HRM use. Worth the investment. Lost 50lbs with Polar already!! :•>

    My Xmas gift

I asked for this tracker as my Xmas gift. I've been using another Polar at the gym with my trainer and wanted something that has similar features. After reviewing different Polar models I decided on this one. It's great, love how it showed difficulty zones in which it thinks your body is operating during workout (that's all based on the data you enter) and the % of the effort your heart is making at the time. Helps to burn the calories the way you want to burn them and stay in control. One thing I don't like about it is it will sometimes not sync or lose connection with my phone and it takes some trail and error procedures to get it back on track. The watch itself works fine, it's the app that has issues and Polar is aware of it. Hopefully they'll resolve it fast.

Had previously purchased a fit bit charge . It wouldn't hold a charge past 24 hours. They did an exchange, same problem . I returned it. I then did more research. My very first fitness watch was a polar loved it just didn't like wearing the chest strap. Then I found the 360 I love it . I can wear it In the shower swimming ect . It tracks great, has alarms to set . It looks good nice sleek style. Has 6 different watch faces. Holds a charge for a whole week it automatically goes into a battery saver mode. The clock face slowly gets dimmer till you recharge to reserve battery life :)

Great activity tracker. Tried all of them except Garmin and this one is the best. Measures your heart rate, pace, calories etc. Breaks down your workouts and compares it to previous workouts. The battery life is also topen notch compared to the competitors of theach same caliber.

I really like the features on this product. I knew ahead of time that there was no GPS but this item with it, would be perfect. My only complain is the strap. After only wearing it for about a month, the two teeth that secure one end to the strap, started coming undone because the strap was tearing. Hard to explain but the fact is I didn't have it for more than a month and it was already coming apart.

Great tracker but limited in a few areas

This device does a great job of keeping you on track. It takes some getting the hang of how it tracks your performance, though. Instead of choosing a steps goal, you select your activity level and you work toward a percentage number, not a steps number. This can be helpful in truly relaying the amount of activity. For instance, if you walk faster than usual and get your heart rate higher, you reach your percentage faster (but you must have the activity tracker on). Battery life is great--more than a week on a charge. The screen is nice and bright and can be seen well in both dim light and bright sunlight. While it tracks heart rate during activities or on the spot, it doesn't have a continuous tracker, so you can't measure your resting heart rate. Also, while you can see texts on the device, it will only show you as much as can fit on the screen. You can't scroll to see more, and you can't go back to see previous texts. Overall, this is an effective tracker that fits comfortable and doesn't look too utilitarian.

I have a hard time finding a good fitness tracker that is water resistant/waterproof. So far this one has lasted the longest for me. The band was hard to close in the beginning. Wish the sleep tracking was better.

Originally started off with the Microsoft Band 2 and replaced it three times, once for some software glitch and then twice for material defect. This band is much more comfortable, ergonomic and includes the features that most people will use. If you want to use this thing to do all of your social media, text reply, snapchat etc. then this isn't' what you need, then again if you're buying one of these to actually use and not decorate your wrist you already knew that! My only con so far (used for 2 months) is that the band doesn't breath well, so make sure you remove this to let yourself dry out after a really good and sweaty jaunt. My wrist gets slightly irritated but I'm sure it's nothing a callous won't fix...

Love this A360. Had Polar Loop and loved it and went swimming with it on. I bought this for the heart rate monitor and my brother has an 360 and has had it on while he was in a hot tub a few times and it still works. So easy to set up. I am a computer novice and was able to set this and the loop up without tech support.

Wear it everywhere, even in the shower. Battery life good. Easy to see time. Easy to recharge. Syncs to smartphone app. Accurate for heart rate beats per minute. Tracks sleep too, though I can't vouch for accuracy.of that function. Can see calls, can shut that function off!

This watch is ok. It is not great. The data generated when in activity mode does not match the overall data from the day. It keeps good heart rate information, conflicting miles walked or ran, good calorie count and syncs well with my phone. The watch band opens often The clasp is not secure. I love the fact that it is water proof. But i'd rather have more reliable statistics from my workout over the water proof option.

I really love the features of a tracker with a watch that I can wear in the shower or pool. The minus of 1 star is that it decides on the daily fitness goal & I have no clue what it is. I also wish there were an elliptical profile & a build your own profile. I would definitely recommend this. It's a Polar, one of the top names in fitness tracking.
