Video is clear. No sound on the playback on my computer. The software (Driving recorder player) is not easy to operate, but I found my way through to finally get the files to show up. The software program, which also shows a compass, is chopped off on the right side of my computer screen.
As for the device itself, the windshield mount isn't the best at times, all the sub-menus, and the buttons are not obvious to operate.
But overall, it is my witness if I ever have an accident and it is someone else's fault. It does not do rearview recording, but if you really need that, get 2 of them, not too expensive.
