They made me pay for service before checking to see if they could even install a dash cam on my car (pro tip: they won’t install dash cams on ANY BMW apparently). The real problem is they made it a huge hassle to get my money back (over 1h on the phone then had to drive to Best Buy in person, wait in 2 separate lines).

Not installed properly and incomplete. I wasn’t even given the part that wasn’t installed. Finger prints all over the interior of windshield.

Improper auto install. Suffered damages to my vehicle. They then lied to their insurance company about doing the install. Had to provide evidence to support my claim They are very dishonest!!!

Install was good. I was charged for it even though I am a total tech costumer.

Maybe you people should sell the hardwiring kits in store fustrating that you sell radars but i have to order the kit online to to bring it back to the store to get it installed.. is this a joke?

Installer is careless and did bad work. All he had to do was connect a power a power wire for the GPS. The first time power stopped after 2 weeks. Second time it stopped after 6 days. Would never let them do another install. Imagine if this was a difficult installation.

I wasn’t going to leave a 1 star. But I paid for an installation, scheduled it, and it was canceled by Best Buy. There installer was exposed to COViD. I get it and appreciate that he couldn’t do the work per schedule. No refund was offered. I was told that they would contact me to re-schedule. They haven’t and didn’t. Now I’ve paid for a service, but have not recommend it and it says that I have. So I’m out that money.

Installed front dash cam and radar detector. Rude, messy, lazy. Won’t be back

They take NO pride in doing their job. The wires looked like a rats nest when they were finished. I had them removed and installed professionally by another company. FYI I did not get a refund from Best Buy.

Bad service, kept me waiting for additional 20 mins when the work was done , behaved like he owned east brunswik bestbuy, no demos given, bad installation location. Overall everything went wrong.

I called and called to reschedule installation service and no answer, transfers, hangups and nobody helping me resolve this! I got an email saying service was performed as it had NOT even been the appointment date yet :( very disappointed! Still trying to get ahold of someone. Smh

I bought a Radar Detector install package for my brand new BMW. but Best Buy did not want to touch my car because it was ‘too new.” Now I just need to get a refund.

I've now brought in three vehicles to Best Buy for electronic installation service. All three vehicles remote starts were installed with exceptional professionalism and in a timely manner. I've also had my portable Garmin GPS hardwired to my truck as well as a Garmin Dash Cam. I was instructed on the installation procedure in each instance as well as given the price before installation started. After installation, I was given a thorough walk through on the use and application of all installed devices - from the remote starts to the dash cam. I will continue to utilize Best Buy in all my vehicle electronic installation needs!

Very unfamiliar with setup to hardwire. Radar went out when I arrived home

I did not utilize this service, because they did not have the parts in for it.

my radar detector still does not work. I have already taken it in once, guess i'll have to make another appointment!

The installer made sure I knew exactly how much everything cost and what he was going to do before anything happened. My GPS looks great on the dash. I can tell the installer took extra time in showing as little power cable as possible which I really appreciate. Took less than hour and was super easy to setup an appointment. If you have a portable GPS unit and you want the power hard wired to the car, this is well worth the $50!

Speedy installation was very professional. Wires were hidden and no more plug in the cigarette lighter.

I brought this item {$49.99 - Geek Squad® - GPS Installation (Hardware Not Included)} online on buestbuy.com , the instructions says after buying this take an appointment with Greek squad. And i took my 2007 Honda Pilot for In-Dash GPS "Jensen VM9424" to install at Best Buy , Schaumburgh. After going there they said the $49.99 is not the right one, i need to pay $119.99. I don't understand why they charge $119.99 coz i see this $199.99 which described as "Geek Squad® - Mobile Video Overhead/Headrest Installation (Hardware Not Included)mount" is for overhead headrest installation. But the Jensen VM9424 which i took is just goes in Dash. But I paid $119.99, I don't recommend this $49.99 to anyone. And another poor service is i want to cancel this $49.99 went to customer service desk at BestBuy, Schaumburgh, One Ms. told i cannot cancel it coz i brought it online. and told me to call best buy. I did call the customer service, one Ms. spoke for such a long time then transfered my call to Accounts dept. she spoke for long time then transfered my call to other dept and another Ms. spoke and transfered my call to somewhere, i was fed up. i went back to customer service desk, this time i met a guy, who did a good by cancelling this $49.99 and refund it back to credit card. My question, when he can do it , why the first representative couldn't? POOR SERVICE W/ POOR DESCRIPTION. I was not like this with Best Buy, Schaumburgh. I brought so many items with them, and this experience is very very BAD.
