Love the fridge and the service. Timely and courteous. But when the box was opened there was a dent on the side. In the photo.

Terrible Service - Made me remove old fridge doors

Manada's bad service on August 7 was very unprofessional. They didn't want to move the fridge to another spot in the house for "liability reasons." I need it prominently placed to see that the "Movement" service means I have to pay another guy to take doors off my fridge myself to move it! It was so bad because there is no prominent place, or a place that I have found in my experience, that shows the requirement that I have to take the doors off of my fridge if I want to move it from my kitchen to my garage. The service experience, by every means was reprehensible and outrageous from beginning to end. The beginning consisted of grouchy delivery people who called at 6AM for a delivery a half-day later and didn't want to move the fridge until I magically knew how to take the doors off the fridge myself! They wanted to haul my fridge away and not let me keep it! On top of this, they wanted to leave a broken new fridge with me. Luckily, I had assistance present in my Good Samaritan family, who sacrificially gave their time and effort to help me remove the doors from the fridge. Imagine what poor young people have available to them if they don't have a handyman around - no respite from greedy business people we are supposed to trust in our homes! I followed all the instructions for my delivery handed to me on the Best Buy website to make sure I did everything reasonably possible to ensure a smooth delivery, but it didn't give me this duty of "fridge door removal" on my checklist to have another person or paid service present to remove the doors on my fridge in order to relocate it in my home! The people who came were terrible and the fridge that was originally delivered had to be sent back because they probably broke it on installation or didn't know how to put the door on to connect the power to the fridge door. They even broke into my walls on their way down the stairs and banged up my wooden railing. Terrible service and no one called me for the damages I sustained!

So far, the GE washer is working fine. This review pertains to the unprofessional delivery and haul away service we received and lack of backend support we received when trying to file a property damage claim.
We could not have had a worse experience with the removal of our old washer. The subcontracted delivery company, XPO, sent two guys who brought more persona than care for their work. For the guy who forgot his lifting straps at the previous job, it seemed like it was all a big joke. He kept calling his team the "A team"... "You are lucky, man, you got the A-team". They made multiple comments about how lucky we were to get them for this work, and handled the entire job with a cocky attitude. Their confidence was unmerited.
Because one guy forgot his lifting straps at the prior job, they had significantly less leverage when moving the new unit downstairs and removing the old washer. They lost the ability to move the machines in an upright orientation.
When they were removing the old machine, they tipped it on its back to go up the stairs. Water rushed out everywhere and all over my work bench, onto three battery chargers that were plugged in, and into my tool box. It took about an hour to clean up the tools and the bench. I can still see water stains on the wood work bench top.
When they got the old washer to the top of the stairs, they had trouble maneuvering it through the door way - a task that would have been easy with the lifting straps. The guy who forgot his straps decided brute force was the best way to get it through. I was so distracted downstairs trying to sop up the water running off the stairs and onto my work bench that I did not go up to see what they were doing. Before I could say anything, he was counting "1, 2, 3..."
I heard the two obviously hurried guys rip the washer through the door frame with a loud scraping sound. I remained down in our basement cleaning up the water off my electronic tools and wood work bench while they took the old washer outside.
Had they stopped to think about it, or ask me about it, I would have told them that this was not the first time we have moved appliances to and from the basement. There are ways to get it through the door if you use a little bit of thought.
After they left, I saw what happened to the door frame. It was like someone took a rasp to the bottom four feet of each side of the frame. (See photos)
I immediately called Best Buy to see what could be done about the damage. The representative gave me several phone numbers: XPO Logistics, the Best Buy "Appliance Resolution" department, and their property damage insurance company Sedgwick. XPO said I had to handle the issue directly through Best Buy. The various Best Buy people with whom I spoke said I had to handle it through Sedgwick. Sedgwick said I had to handle it through Best Buy.
A Best Buy "agent defender" has told me three times over the past month and a half: "If a representative has not contacted, you by the end of the 5th day please email [email protected]". Each time, I have sent that email. Not a single reply in the period beginning the first week of November to now, the week of Christmas.
Best Buy, Sedgwick, and XPO have completely ghosted me on this. There is damage to my house caused by delivery personnel under their charge and they have completely ignored me.
If you have made it this far through the review, and are using it to consider why Best Buy can charge so little to provide this service, the answer is volume, low-cost delivery services with low-skilled labor, and zero backend support if something goes wrong. Think twice about what "free" delivery and haul away actually means. You may end up like me, left high and dry with damage that costs more than the machine itself to repair.

First off, the delivery guy literally walked into my home without knocking or ringing the door bell. I heard my alarm system ding and there he was standing at the front door. Second, he spoke little to no English, this wasn't the best thing since he didn't understand anything I asked. When they brought the fridge in they damaged it pretty good. 26" long dented in scratch on one side, 2 places in the back had been smashed in a good inch or two. When I told him this was not acceptable he had no idea what I was saying and kept telling me "will work?". I took pictures and signed his paper with notes describing damages. It then took me almost a week, including a 45 minute drive to a store and 45 minutes back home, and almost 2 hours of phone time to get someone to finally compensate me for the extensive damages. Lastly, they did not install the fridge or attach the water line, he flat out refused to hook the line in despite the fact it was right behind the fridge and ready to be hooked up. They did not remove any of the plastic covering, Styrofoam inserts or cardboard from the inside and outside of the fridge. They were supposed to do a full install so it was ready to use when they left, that was not what happened. It literally stressed me out and I don't understand why I had to be stressed out, best buy obviously didn't care too much a out me as a paying customer.

First of all I have been an elite plus members and loyal customer for years. Loyal to the point where if i saw an item somewhere else for less i would still buy from best buy. BUT NO MORE. I purchased the 77" LG CX for my basement home theater area to replace a 2018 70". Delivery was free, but I paid for the additional option to "haul away and recycle your old item or move it to another spot in your home" (for a total cost over $4k).
I intended to move the "old" tv upstairs to another room. Before its arrival, I moved all the furniture from the rooms to create an easy clear path and unhooked all wires to make the move as easy and quick as possible. The "old" TV is on a stand, not mounted to the wall, the new tv would be place on that same stand.
When the item arrived and was brought into the basement, one of the two delivery men refused to touch (let alone move) the "old" TV to another spot in the house or to unbox the new tv and place it on the stand. I even offered to help them (either one of them) move it and he still refused. He only offered to unbox and place the new tv on the stand, if i let him take the "old" tv with him. So he was fine moving it as long as he got to take it.
I then asked him to just help me put the "old" tv on the floor next to the stand so they could put the new tv on the stand. He again reiterated in a loud threatening tone that he would only do it if i let him haul away the "old" tv.....in other words haul away my tv to his (or maybe his friends) house....
I reiterated that i was a best buy elite plus member, paid for the service, and showed him that i paid for the service both on the best buy app on my phone and on the delivery paper he handed to me upon his arrival, while he again insisted he was now not touching either tv and was just leaving the new tv in its box on the floor in the middle of the room in front of the "old" tv. When i again said i paid for the service he said he didn't care he was leaving and if i didn't like it to go get my money back.
After he left, i spent 4 hours on two phones and in chats on two different computers trying to get in touch with customer service at best buy to somehow resolve the issue. In the end each time i was able to speak with someone (after waiting on average an hour per call) they basically said they couldn't do anything now and would transfer me to management (each time disconnecting me instead....we all know that game).....or they would have someone reach out to me who could help. Nobody ever did.
In the meantime, i was able to find the same product from a competitor for a slightly cheaper price (only $5) but including a 5 year warranty. When explained to best buy, they didn't care, just like their delivery person.
If there were ever an example of the worst possible customer service and how to lose an extremely loyal customer this was it. I would caution any and every potential customer to consider the way best buy treats even its highest level customers (Elite Plus) before making a purchase from them. There are many other retailers (often with better prices) who actually value their customers.

My old range has never been hailed away. I paid for the service when the new one was delivered, but they couldn’t install it, so they left the old one. I have since had to have my propane company install my new range and I have called Best Buy multiple times and they have assured me it will get picked up. It is now been two months and it is still here. I will never ever use Best Buy to purchase an appliance again.

I don't like writing reviews especially bad ones, but these guys totally ruined something so beautiful: finally getting a new fridge!
They acted all put out by simple requests like letting me get the dust bunnies off from under my old fridge while they moved it to my backyard. I asked them to wait a sec, so I could go grab my electric leaf blower to quickly get rid of the dust bunnies. They said no, that they had to go quick, so I literally had to run to grab my leaf blower and then run back to them before they made it to my back gate. Acted all put out by the all of 30 second delay of their time I added to their job too! Then, dude wouldn't even plug in my old fridge saying, "Na, bro. That part's on you".
Then I had to beg them to take the doors off of the fridge instead of taking off the old front door of my even older house. He literally tried to argue with me about it saying it might make the fridge defective. At which point, I asked if his company was bonded and would rather replace and install a new door to my house or my new fridge. That shut him up.
They were just generally unfriendly and seemed totally uninterested in my satisfaction over them just finishing the job as quickly as they could.
To add insult to injury, they didn't even level the fridge/freezer doors. Looks like a total Mickey Mouse job. See for yourself in the attached picture.
Best Buy: if I ever buy another appliance like this from you again, don't send these guys. They accidentally got double tipped by both me and the homeowner so I hope at least they're happy.

washer/dryer install

Washer dryer combo was delivered and installed. When the installation was finishing up the installer asked me for a towel or some paper towels, thought nothing of it. They were dabbing around the back near the hose hookup.
They started a wash/dry cycle and left, I suppose this is part of their procedure. Checking in periodically on the cycle I notice water on the floor. I looked on the back of the appliance and noticed leaking where the water kit hooks up to the machine. Right where they were dabbing with paper towels. The water kit was defective and leaking.
Furthermore, inspecting the appliance I saw the door gasket was mangled. Maybe this happened on the initial cycle, who knows.
There are also two brackets at the back of the machine that were supposed to be removed that were not.
Now we’re stuck waiting over two weeks for a replacement with no functional washer and dryer.

While the service was great from installing to hauling away my old washer the new washer itself isn’t that great. It literally takes over an hour to wash one load of clothes. To say it’s cheap is an understatement. Nonetheless everyone is not rich and most of us are living on a budget so I still expected better quality for an item that is on the more reasonably priced side…

Installation and haul-away service TERRIBLE

With our recent clothes washer purchase, I opted to purchase the haul-away service and installation. Best Buy contracts this delivery out to a 3rd-party. The "technician" was rude and smelled of body odor. In addition to the lack of professionalism, he damaged 13 ceramic tiles in our laundry room when he moved the old washer out. I filed a claim within five minutes of him leaving and, over a month later, nothing has been done to resolved this issue. The 3rd-party company continues to tell me that they're still gathering information. I didn't realize this was an investigation that apparently takes months to conclude. Based on this experience, I would never again use Best Buy for an appliance purchase. I included a photo of one area of damage, so you can see for yourself. This is scratched through the surface of the tile. This is not a cosmetic scratch. Somehow *we* managed to move both a washer & dryer in there ourselves without scratching the floor, but the "professional" apparently couldn't. Pathetic.

Not advertised.... because the fan sticks out so far the racks are shorter, so my cookie sheets can't fit the long way from front to back, allowing me to put another pan next to it. Ugly - the oven door is pretty to look at the glass is nice the handle covers the vents and is easy to clean but the controls stand high above the unit and I see between it and the backsplash like it's disconnected not complete. very ugly. If your unit is facing another wall fine but I have an open plan kitchen .I'm sitting at my counter staring eye level from my couch i can also see it and my dinette too is visible to the unit.

Best Buy Total Protection is a rip off!!! The racks on my Dish Washer started to rust through after about a year and a half and they wanted me to pay $85 (after paying for the protection) to have someone come out and LOOK at it. I can buy a new one on Amazon for $100. This is stupid and I will be cancelling my wasted membership.

When I had to get someone in to change the water turn off I was told to contact Best Buy to reschedule installation and take away of old dishwasher. Within a couple of days I notified the delivery service to come back. I was told it would be into April, so I had another party install the dishwasher and placed the old one next to the garage door. April 5 it was scheduled for pick up. No one showed. Rescheduled for April 19. No one showed. Today is April 23 and I guess I will have to pay to have it removed. Any savings on the dishwasher I received went away with the delivery service. It cost $60 to have it installed and it will probably cost that much to have the old one removed. I won't order from Best Buy because of their delivery service. Oh! And I'm still out money that I paid Best Buy for the take-away. I love my Bosch Dishwasher...just don't love Best Buy

Very cheaply made. Your tart pans will not stay on the rack because the rack needs more grates on it. And the grate on the stove is so thin not sure if I'll be able to can on it I don't know if it can withstand the heat it's so thin. And I bought it online next time I will go in the store.
