Excellent device for adding remote control ability.Great alternative to competitors.

Works better than directv remote, and changes channel fast. No instructions on how to use it, but learn fast. Very easy to setup. Can't record, fast forward, reverse, etc.

I just received the Peel Pronto and I have to say, It's pretty amazing, but not without some faults. It won't find my Netflix (although it's in the device menu) or our Fire Stick (to be fair, they don't support that yet I believe). It just took a couple of minutes to get it up and running.. BUT, there are a few unanswered questions. If I decide to switch to my iPad, I have to disconnect from my iPhone and it's not intuitive how to do that and the docs don't explain it well. I haven't tried yet, but I assume I have to got to bluetooth settings and disconnect from the Pronto, then connect with the iPad. It would be great and a SUPER addition to be able to use our Amazon and Netflix account, but so far, nope.

I was a bit hesitant to try this out but it turned out to be a great smart-remote. So basically you place the pronto in front of your tv or any where in the room and you can control about anything from your smartphone. You can also backup all your settings and remotes with google+ or facebook account. It has suuport for all your HDTVs and streaming boxes. Only one I couldn't find was Amazon Fire Stick but you can still control it with directional buttons. But support of additional streaming boxes is still growing. Once you connect your smartphone with pronto over bluetooth you dont ever have to worry about finding any remote. It works with Peel smart remote app which also provides you with program guide and you can also have multiple-room setup. Overall I am happy with the product.

Only works off of battery, wish it had a way to plug it up, it works off of BluTooth, so you'll need to change the 4AA batteries about once a month.

Loved the fact that its so easy to setup Pronto out of the box with SmartRemote app for my devices. Pronto connectivity is solid..and i can even control my Vizio soundbar. My old RoomieRemote app looks ugly in front of this app and glad to move on. SmartRemote app itself seems to be well thought out and its TV Guide is amazing. However I guess they could add a feature to search for shows to find out its future schedules. Overall Pronto is a small, portable, cheap device that can control your device

You can connect to the device from a smart phone via Bluetooth . No more adjusting the Direct TV or Dish box so you can have line of sight to change the channels or lower the volume on the TV. Most devices are programmed already allowing for quick and easy setup. Best feature is you can customize the layout on the phone for a smoother interface.

Used this to control my fios set top box on a tv in a different room than the fios box. I am using an ipad 3, and after downloading the app from the app store, just followed the directions and every thing works great. Just wish the ipad wouldn't go to sleep so often. This is the answer to my different room tv. Will buy another the next time I find one on sale.

I absolutely love the way it works. No delay, the program guide, easy to set up and easy to use. The only issue is you can only connect one iOS device at a time and no android support.

I got it because I lost my tv remote. The only thing I don't like is that you can't manually turn it off. So it just wastes the battery life unless you take them out. But that is just a nit-picking fault. It does the job and the Bluetooth works great!

Goes through batteries quickly, the app is a little tricky to navigate. But once you figure it out it works great. My phone doesn't always connect to it and I got to fiddle around trying to get it to connect. It's pretty good though.

Amazing product! Very easy to setup, reasonable price. I can control all my home theater equipments from my iPhone!

Worked pretty good, still haven't got my Sony DVD player to work. Everything else works great. There was an email address given for help. Still waiting. But I would buy this again.

I originally got this as a Deal of the Day for $29.99, and I thought it was a decent deal at that price. After a week, it was the Deal of the Day again for $19.99, so I got some money back. Pros: -Works great for most devices -App works okay on most tablets/phones -Battery life is better than 30 days (I use rechargeable) -Way cheaper than many items that do similar things (i.e. Harmony) Cons: -You have to tweak certain remote settings for some audio devices -Manually doing remote programming is a pain (note the settings elsewhere in case they get erased) -No AC power ability -Can easily be mistaken for a bottle of cologne

I bought this Pronto remote to test out in a home theater after yet another very expensive programmable remote bit the dust. This Pronto was a Best Buy "deal of the day" so I didn't have much to lose if it didn't work. The theater has a ceiling mounted projector with the rest of the A/V equipment located behind cabinet doors at the rear of the room. So, regular remotes simply won't work. After placing the surprisingly small Pronto behind the last row of theater chairs, I installed the required Peel app on my iPhone & selected the proper code for the components. I was actually surprised to discover that this little remote works great!! It's inexpensive, easy to set up & use, and inconspicuous. Highly recommended!!

Pretty impressive would be better for worked over Wi-Fi then Bluetooth. I say this because you could only have one person connected to it at a time. In order for second person can use it you would have to disconnect and then they would have to pair-up their device. Overall a nice unit worked for four out of my five devices. We only want to get them worked for was a pretty old Sony receiver. No cords - works off of 4 - AA batteries Really nice feature is you put in your cable provider and it pulls up the whole cable guide. (really nice feature)

I was suspicious about this unit since there's so many "almost" units that do something similar.... but, with that said, I had no problem getting this to work on two different sets in our house, bedroom and livingroom... It's handy to be able to go to bed and THEN turn off the family room tv and turn ON the bed tv, without having to actually got off our duffs and go get the dedicated remotes... Great Gadget, works as stated... I'd recommend it to a friend...

A friend of mine sent me an article on the Pronto Peel. I decided to buy one and give it a try. The device was even smaller than I thought. Configuring the app was mostly a breeze, but I do wish the wizard was a bit more descriptive. I think it’s really cool to switch the channel right from the guide, really fast too. I can control my LG TV, DVR, soundbar and Roku just from my iPhone 5S. It’s also super convenient to switch with just one tap from watching DVR to watching Roku. Also having quick access to all important remote buttons is pretty convenient. Next I configured my bedroom TV. Pretty cool, my iphone is my alarm clock and my remote.

I used to search for my remotes. The kid would always lose them and I could never find the one I want. With Pronto I do it all with my iPhone which I always have close by. Set up was way easier than my old Logitech Harmony and finding shows I want to watch is awesome. I wish they would support more than one iPhone at a time.

We needed something to stash into our new components cabinet that would allow us to work everything like it was RF and this device did the trick. Super easy set up and the TV guide feature is a neat additional feature.
