Complicated and frustrating registration

The problem so far isn't so much the software as they complications to download and install. Three major issues.
1. Seems after purchase is not automated and I wanted almost two days to receive a download link. It said 30 min but no way.
2. Afterrecieveing the link. It's incorrect. I had to figure out the link myself. (If you don't have experience with these things it's going to be a nightmare.
3. Registration was cumbersome and complicated. I literally spent almost an hour and a half and still couldn't register. It required a convoluted process of creating an account, tying that account to the serial and then having to have a rep manually give me a product number.
4. Still not registered.
It's almost not worth saving the $100 from buying directly from Intuit themselves.

Wife purchased this to help her do the books for her small business. Very simple to use was you input everything. Pretty much does everything itself.

The function is very different than a PC. The program has many issues functioning in general. It continually crashes when downloading bank statements, auto transactions that were programed in PC QB did not transfer correctly and are not consistent. For example, I have an account labeled Utilities with an account number attached that the power bill used to automatically go into, but the MAC QB wants to create a new account and label it Utilities each time it comes up.
When reconciling, the program would prompt to "clear matched transactions" and you were to select yes or no. No matter which answer I chose the system would crash. When you reopen all of the transactions that you added or matched were gone and you were prompted to add them or pair them again... which would create duplicate transactions in your register. Very time consuming to correct.
Although the customer service folks were friendly, only on one occasion that I called was I able to speak with a MAC support person. The multiple other times I would call I was given 4 incorrect numbers to reach the MAC support, disconnected after being on hold for 45 minutes, very frustrating and unproductive.

It is always good for running a business but after a few years you have to upgrade as they won't support any older versions. Unfair but stuck.
