Think of red dead redemption, but post apocolyptic and with super powers. The movement could be smoother as the character seems a bit jerky. The driving is good, but feels tight when turning. The physics while playing are ridiculous in a great way. People exploding when you critical melee them or heads exploding when you blast them with a shotgun against a wall. The game does get repetitive in a sense of drive here, kill everyone, drive there, kill everyone. But it does bring some entertainment for an hour or so at a time.

This game has a lot of great gameplay features and mechanics. The story is a little weak but it’s a fun shooter.

A fun knock off that's not finished. The environment looks lazy and dated. The driving is clunky. Voice acting is not very good. The story is confusing and buried in a bunch of reading. Where this games shines at the shooting mechanics. Not as good as Borderlands or doom but still very fun. Side not only 5 hours in so far.

Amazing graphics fun and entertaining with lot’s of action throughout the game

Just bought rage 2 hoping it's as good as the first if not better. The trailers definitely looked killer and the open world with a crazy mad max feel has me excited to put some hours into this game

This is a great game. It’s fast like the new Doom, with steady controls and satisfying kills. Also the open world is just like mad max where there are plenty of jumps and fun places to drive.

I was pretty disappointed in the ending for the first game, so far I have been playing this one and I can say that this is a great success to the first one in combat and open world gameplay

Disclaimer: The campaign is kinda short and can be done in a weekend easy. However, there are a lot of side quests to keep you busy for a while. The gameplay and visuals are fantastic!

Rage 2 is bombastic fun with little considerstion for story, having any semblance of deep character relationships or a memorable open world. It's still serious fun until about 8 hours in, when the game make you grind tedious and repetitive side missions just to progress the main story. Up until that point though, the combat feels like if Doom (2016) was a cover shooter, and that was amazing to play and learn how to combo actions and skills together for massive carnage. Rage 2 is a good pickup when on sale or if you really have $60 to burn and no other games under consideration.

Great controls and graphics, ok story and lots of action. Go buy.

Big guns, big explosions. Decent progression. No story. Dumb fun.

The barebones plot is more than made up for with the crazy combat. A giant open world, feels a little barren, but when you find a bandit outpost or mutant den or a new weapon and ability upgrade, the combat is over the top fun. Great for someone who just likes to explore and clear out areas rather than looking for a deep detailed story.

This is a great game that reminds you of Bond, Fallout, Bioshock, Metro and Mad Max. I grabbed a copy on a great sale price that made it even better. Some times in game play you feel like the Rambo effect, but the price will be payed. The game is worth purchasing and has you looking forward to RAGE 3.

It is not a bad game by any means but as far as a first person shooters go, it is quite bland. The visuals are underwhelming and the there is not to much going on in the world. When you get into gun fights and battles, that is when the game shines as it gets crazy, but they don't last for to long. Worth a try but not at full price.

Good game. Lots of action and mayhem. If you’re a fan of Mad Max, you’ll probably enjoy this game.
