All i can say is that this laptop could cause 3rd degree burns to babies, i myself couldn't keep my fingers in certain keys (5 for example) for more than 2-3 seconds it was too hot. When gaming you wanna keep your fingers on keys for quick presses, cant do that with this laptop.

I wanted to love it so bad. It's really a desktop

Pros:
* OLED Screen is amazing.
* Form Factor and weight are surprisingly small/light.
* Keyboard is decent, nothing annoying.
* It drives the graphics card with 90W (faster than typical 80W)
Cons:
* OMG do the fans go all. the. time. It's not quiet.
* It gets incredibly hot to the touch. You could never use it wearing shorts and ironically, your legs would block the very needed fans.
* The 2080 Super isn't anything close to a desktop card with the same name.
* It has a massive 230 watt power supply and the cable to the laptop is a proprietary connector (kind of has to be for 230 watts).
* Even in optimal situations, the laptop cannot keep itself cool and frame rates suffer. I rested the laptop on a frozen gel pad and the framerates were amazing. But it's not sustainable like that.
* It's really expensive and cannot play AAA games on Ultra, it just can't.
* Battery life is abysmal. I get an hour on the battery. And that's not with gaming, just regular use. The battery life is really bad and so it's a laptop that needs to be plugged in all the time basically.

I've used this laptop daily for the past 4 years. It's overall quality and reliability makes me view the purchase as a good decision, despite the high price tag.
