Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the DeathAdder V2 Wired Optical Gaming Mouse's comfort, price, gaming performance, weight, RGB lighting, size, and DPI settings. They appreciate its comfortable design, affordable price, suitability for gaming, lightweight feel, customizable RGB lighting, appropriate size, and adjustable DPI settings. However, some customers have concerns about the software, durability, side buttons, clicks, and lack of wireless connectivity. They dislike the mandatory installation of Razer software, question its long-term durability, find the side buttons annoying, experience occasional click registration issues, and prefer a wireless option.

Amazing quality and feel. I highly recommend this to my friends and colleagues because of the durability and (to the T) quality in comfortability on the person using the item. Buttons are all in ease of use positioned places on the mouse and the coloration and design is great also. Again I highly recommend.

This is a very nice optical mouse. I've purchased the original DeathAdder (which I actually wore out... ahh the WoW days), the RGB DeathAdder Elite, and this is my first V2. There aren't a ton of differences, physically speaking, but they did change the buttons up a little (still similar, just different shape to them). The mouse is actually lighter, and they changed the braiding on the cable. It's "looser" now, but having dealt with it for a month at this point I can say I don't mind it at all and basically don't even notice anymore. It also has slightly different pads on the bottom that are white instead of the previous black. It includes a profile button on the bottom and on-board memory (do you need that? I don't... but it's cool to have if I was big on dialing in my "perfect settings" then took my mouse somewhere else... without my computer... and wanted to game? weird.). Plus it's sensor is great. They've all been really great. Do I notice a major improvement or something? No. The other DeathAdder's were also great, this one did not break that trend. It fits better in slightly larger hands than some other mice I've owned, and I prefer it over those other mice. Some of these that I've used (or still use when I must) include "standard" generic mice you get included with new PC's (Dell in particular), a Razer Naga, and even the wireless Logitech G403 (which is a nice wireless gaming mouse, but much heavier and not as comfortable). All in, this is, so far, my favorite mouse to use. If it broke right now, I'd hop my quarantined self in my car and curb-side pick up another of these. Let's just hope I remember pants. What day is it again? lol

5-Stars because it’s what you’re expexting to buy. A comfortable, mid-level/dependable gaming mouse w/ a Halo design for fans. I mostly play Overwatch, Valorant, and Minecraft atm. Optimal performance, good feel and lightweight.

Razer’s Deathadder Elite is on most lists as the go to for playing FPS (games such as Call of Duty Black Ops, Modern Warfare, and Fortnite. Razer added their new optical to the buttons making that that much faster than before. They trimmed the weight by providing a new form factor that feels even better than before in my hand. The flex cord is non noticeable so you feel like it’s wireless. The 2 buttons behind the scroll wheel are more defined and easier to quickly change DPI quickly per game of map where that might be needed. It is RGB enabled so you have like 16 million color variations to pick or create your own. The synapse software is easy to use and provides you the items that you can use. Polling rate goes up to 1,000, the IPS is 650, along with their Opticsl+ focus sensor for up to 20,000 DPI. I’ve been using the mouse for a while and it’s one I go to for quick, precise shooting in Modern Warfare. To be honest it is a fantastic mouse that I would highly recommend to anyone.

The Razer DeathAdder has been around since 2006, and I remember adopting this mouse as my main driver for desktop computing and usage. I have had about 4 versions of this mouse and this one is by far the most refined and best feeling to use. It is lighter than any previous version and it just feels like quality. This combination makes it weird to use for those used to heavier mice due to the fact that it feels durable and so light. It is snappy and the software does a decent job and customizing it. The grips on the side definitely feel firm and don't feel like they're going to come lose or fall off. I also welcome the matte finish on the mouse as opposed to a glossy texture. I also welcome the recessed top buttons that switch between precision speeds so I don't accidentally click them with normal use. With all those positives, the only negative I can think of is the fact that it is still a wired mouse. I know there is a wireless option for this mouse, but it's double the price. While I love quality, I'm also cheap, so I'll keep using the wired version. I've used this mouse for the past 13-14 years and I have always, and still love it. Get it already!

Very precise mouse, fits perfectly in my hand, and the different settings for the lighting make it very eye-catching. I've combined it with a Razer keyboard and any and all lighting settings can be set across both devices and it looks wonderful.

Unbeatable ergonomics. As someone with larger hands, it always felt like I had to do some special grip to use any mouse. This thing shows why it’s been on the market for so long because of how well it works with larger hands. Build quality is excellent and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Best mouse I have ever used! I upgraded from a Razer Lancehead TE which was also amazing but didn't like the small side buttons. This mouse has better tracking and can keep up with everything i throw at it with the perfect design that the Deathadder has always been known for. Perfect addition to any battlestation.

Such a fun mouse to use. Great colors and easy to use software for it. The only complaint I have is that you cannot use the scroll wheel to go back a page by pressing it to the left (it does not move to the left so please do not try and force it to).
