Good for some laptops

The only negative I had in using it was that the magnets that hold the cushions on caused my laptop screen to shut off. So I ultimately had to return it since I couldn’t use my laptop with it without needing to prop the bottom up which in turn made it uncomfortable to use and reduced the cooking effect significantly.

I had been using a thermaltake laptop cooling pad and it would drop my temps ~5 deg on cpu and gpu, this laptop cooler drops it by about 15 degrees or more. The foam seal really boosts cooling efficiency. Definitely expensive though.

However, it bothers me that the cord used to plug the pad into a laptop is not removable. Otherwise would absolutely recommend.

Razer cooling pad

One of the good features it has, is that the fans can be set manually or through the software to go on automatically. I think it's going to work for the gaming laptop I got it for. It keeps the temp around 50/50 roughly. Hardly ever higher than 60.
