If you are coming from the Rodecaster Pro to this, you won’t be disappointed! If you have the money to get this, then this a wise investment (if you are able to afford it). The Rodecaster Pro 2 is, and will be (with future updates) the gold standard for home studios, and a magnificent centerpiece for your home studio. On a petty note, when I received my Rodecaster Pro 2 box via delivery, it was missing the outer sleeve to the Rodecaster Box. The box was very dusty and scratched, and I was concerned that there could be some contents missing, but it was all there! Other than that, Best Buy delivered, and the Rodecaster Pro 2 is magnificent!

I am now returning my 2nd unit to Best Buy as they've someone now managed to ship me a 2nd used unit listed as a new price. It's covered in scratches, fingerprints, and clearly has been sitting on a shelf. The 2nd one I received was worst than the first.
The first return, the person on duty ensured me they would ship it directly to my house and make sure it was new. It's very very easy to see the scuff marks on the bottom and fingerprints.
After thousands of dollars and years doing business with Best Buy, I'm officially out. They can't be trusted to sell you a product as new anymore without trying to pawn off a shelf unit. I can't believe they tried this twice - on a $700 unit no less.
BUYER BEWARE
I'll update this once I return the second one as I still want one and I can pretty much guarantee they'll only give store credit for their own screw up.

Over kill but literally a one stop for everything. I upgraded my streaming/podcast setup and now I can’t go without this. No extra software needed for processing my voice or background noise it’s all done straight in the rose caster pro 2. So many profile customizations. Options are limitess.

The Rodecaster is a good product for what it is. When I saw they were going to add more virtual channels and a better routing table for streamers I jumped on it quick. It’s been over a year now with no additional virtual channels and no work towards streamer focused updates. Great for what it is but missing the ball in a big way for streamers.

The Rode was a huge disappointment. You have to use Rode adapters for anything to work. And the adapters and cords made by Rode are on back order. I returned my product. Run away do not walk away RUN away!

I think they gave me an old return. The box was messed up, and one of the buttons/pads is broken. I love the product, but I honestly think I received a dud.

This unit is a dream to use and well built! Rode's ongoing support is also very promising. But I'm not saying anything you haven't already seen everyone else say! :-)

Purchased the RodeCaster Pro 2 less than 2 years ago. They have a faulty design with their power button, simply search online about it and you’ll see hundreds of posts about it. Sadly, mine also broke. I contacted Rode and they refuse to replace it. The problem is they use a red rubber button in front of a 0.50 cent micro switch which isn’t reinforced. If you push it, the switch begins to bend, until one day it simply stops functioning.
Rode wants 100.00 to repair it on top of the 700.00 I spent and 40.00 for shipping it to them under warranty repair.
I made it clear to them force was required to power on the device due to their design decisions. They asked me to ship it to them anyway, and now want me to pay for the repair. Bad customer service. Bad warranty. Terrible design.
I won’t ever buy another Rode product.
