I have been trying to configure this for days with no luck. Product support is via email with endless delays in response with numerous requests for pictures. The QR code doesn't scan to set up Wi-Fi. The software setup asks for email forwarding. The default is for Gmail, but it doesn't work. The camera just keeps yelling at you in many foreign languages to scan the QR code but doesn't work. Useless! When I told the customer service tech that the camera was defective because it will not scan the QR code, I was told that the camera was not defective and that I was doing something wrong. I was told that my cellphone screen was too small even though I have a Samsung Galaxy Fold (large screen phone). I also tried using an 11 inch tablet with no luck. I was told that my Wi-Fi SSID was too complicated even though I was using a five letter English word with no special characters. I was told my Wi-Fi password was too complicated again I made my password a simple five letter English word. I was told that I was holding the screen too far away or too close or at the wrong angle. I told the customer service tech that I had tried everything possible or reasonable with no luck, but the camera would not read the QR code. The reply from Reolink was always the same, "it's me, not the camera." I ended up buying a second camera. It did read the QR code but would not finish setting up the Wi-Fi connection. I am now stuck with two defective Reolink cameras and a Reolink NVR that do not work as advertised and impossible to set up as advertised. If you buy this system, expect problems. Expect a protracted process of tech support through emails. Expect to be blamed for the defective product. I bought the first Reolink camera and Reolink NVR online. The second camera I bought from Best Buy.
